It was an NSD, but then realised the council tax was due. I think of all the tax I pay that has to be my least favourite......Overpay!0

I will get my usual newspapers but also have to get some drink to bring to a friend's who is cooking dinner. As I'm also doing Weightwatchers I'm not going to get alcohol so it will just be a bottle of Diet Coke. No idea how much that will cost but around a £1 or so.
And I might order a couple of things from HMV with the discount code but as that's for Christmas it's not counted in my £10 budget.OD Girls On TourBarcelona 2008 - Dublin 20090 -

Can I join in please? Newbie and really throwing myself into it! Started a spending diary and already dont want to put anything on the list that makes me look like a shop-a-holic.poorbutrich wrote:It was an NSD, but then realised the council tax was due. I wholeheartedly agree, thats the one bill i HATE.
I got to work to find everyone ordering bacon sandwiches from the burger van nearby. I resisted for a bit, then caved in - Someone else was paying!!! so thats my lunch for free, and the sarnies can stay in the fridge!
Other than that trying not to spend. Dad is looking at my car tonight coz its not happy and I have a long journey next weekend, so maybe he can make it better for free???0 -
Hi everyone, I've just spent another £6.65 on a prescription for my eye, yep its no better. I also spent £8.35 on some basic shopping at the local shop as I'm unable to go to Mr T's in this state, but I suppose that would come out of my grocery budget, I think. Great news Imelda about the cash back, its excellent when you get something unexpected like that x0

Saved 90p in the car park because a lovely man gave me his ticket. Um £2.88 on lunch (£2.49 was pre-budgeted, stupid city prices ) and need to pay to park later which I think is 60p so about £1

Just braved the weather to put a £10 eBay cheque in the bank, and got a can of diet coke on the way back. Ahh well, better than the diet coke AND bag of banana chips i nearly got.0
