but if they have opened a credit account for me i will not be happy as I do not want one

They can't open one without you agreeing to it.
You have various option to pay.
If you opted to pay upfront with a credit card then you wouldn't get an account.
If you chose a credit account then it would come up with a credit agreement that you'd have to sign (by ticking a box).
I have seen the screens as I originally went down this route to get £30 off but decided against it.
There is no way it can happen without it being very clear to you that you're getting into a credit agreement.

Of course they do now have everyone's details and they may contact us.

Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Yep, and a cynic would say thats why they do this.

They'll get two words off me if they call and the second one is 'off' :D

what does it say when you click on track parcel? is it showing as dispatched yet?
  • As other MSErs have asked, would Martin Lewis be prepared to speak to Very about honouring these deals?

Although very cheap, during the current sales period (where 75% discounts or over arent impossible) these arent obvious misprices, and if Very have accepted payment, stated that orders have been 'accepted' and are being 'processed' then isnt there at least some moral case for Very honouring their mistake? btw Ive read all the arguments on here re their terms and conditions.

I don't really see what it has to do with Martin, to be honest. It isn't like he advertised this deal in the MSE Newsletter.
