    Hi everyone,

Just popping in. 6days 7 hours 58mins smoke free for my partner and I, £46.67 saved....although I think we have been spending slightly more than usual to keep ourselves sane. Still going with the short frequent walks, and we went for a drink with another couple last night (an old uni friend and her partner) which we were suprised at being able to enjoy smokefree! I'm still feeling panicky and off my food but trying to focus on advice RE blood sugar and acknowledge that its natural to feel a little lost.

Kiwi, its awful what has happened in Christchurch. I'm glad you weren't directly affected but its such a tragedy :(

Babylove, I'm still a new non smoker, but my partner and I are quitting together and it has really helped facing the demons together! You and your fiance can really help each other! Yes there are times when you will both be irritable...but on the plus side you both know how the other is feeling. My partner has coped a lot better than I have (Sue suggested that its possible men in general find quitting a little easier than women), and coming on here helps a lot. Putting how you are feeling down in words to the people in this forum on its own helps, and when you get a supportive reply is really spurs you on!

I hope everyone has had a lovely fresh day, and avoided the downpours!

Well hello all! Very nice to see everyone is doing so well!
Im sorry Ive not been around much, however - bigger fish to fry in the form of my stunning daughter who arrived on valentines day. She weighed 5lbs 15oz and we named her Elsie Ann. She is beautiful and we/re very happy.
On the smoking front - I still think about smoking, but 1) no where near wanting one and 2) far too busy for it to last!
Hope everyone is well, and I will update signature and avatar with a pic soon ;)
