when this law is intriduced, then it will be compulsory to surrender the tax and declair SORN to prevent USE. but as it stands you would have to use a vehicle in order to be done with no insurance. they (the police) connot issue a FPN and prosecute for IN10 if you are not using it or permitting to use it and the car is sat firmly outside the door step. first of all they would have to prove in court you drove it or permitted someone else to drive it by catching it being driven, USED, on a public highway!!

Where does it say drive in the RTA?

    It says use.;)

You are wasting your time, he just cannot understand that the vehicle just being on the public highway would be deemed as " use " .. One of my neighbours was done for it.

Inactive, and Genie, why have you converted this thread into yet another self appreciation one, as in :grouphug:?, it's getting just a tad boring.

I really will be glad when remedial school opens to keep Genie a little more occupied,:wave:
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
