Feel a bit fed up today. Have hit the point of pregnancy where I'm just tired and have no energy to do anything, it's Thursday already and I feel as though I've not made any progress in any of the things I should have done this week. Still have boxes to unpack, school work to do, money things to sort. Blah blah blah!
And even now I'm just sat on the internet doing nothing productive with my day. ARGH!
Sorry!Just needed to moan.

Ok, back today and have snapped out of my mood!
Decided to get up and go and visit a friend yesterday afternoon who's just come out of hospital so that was nice. And starting today with a walk in the rain with the dog and then realising I've been paid has made me feel a lot better!
In addition, I've just made a payment on my credit card of £200 and in updating my spreadsheet I realised that what I had tracked to be my balance was £232 above what the actual balance is so somewhere along the line I've missed recording a payment or two! Yaaaay! Better than it being the other way around at least. :rotfl:
Can't wait to make payment on loan and payment to inlaws now to further update my balances. Yay! xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Happy Saturday all! Bank holliday weekend and the last weekend before back to school so need to make the most of it...
Off to walk the dog shortly and then have quite a nice morning planned. Me and mum are off to a little craft fair to have a nose and then are having lunch in my favourite little organic cafe - naughty treat but I have been paid and it's nice to spend some time together.
OH is working, bless him trying to earn some overtime for the pot. Shame he's not enjoying the long weekend though.
Update on little business - have 8 dog coats to pick up this weekend and get embroidered! Yay! Also going to get sample of baby stuff done and start marketing that too.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Well shopping with mum is lethal! I took £30 out with me hoping not to make even a little dent and somehow came home with about £5.
I bought a handbag from the craft fair, some pyjamas for hospital bag and some books for baby both from charity shop. Lunch was nice but am cross that so much money has gone on not a lot. SIGH!
Then OH wanted takeaway pizza for dinner so I made him pay! Ha!
Today we've got some of his friends coming round for lunch. As the sun is shining he wants to do a BBQ but I know we'll spend a fortune on that too. Just realised how grumpy I'm starting to sound....
SNAP OUT OF IT!
Plan for the morning:
1) Church - DONE.
2) Dishes away off draining rack.
3) Wash up.
4) Clean bathroom.
5) Sweep all floors downstairs (Wood throughout plus doghair. Lovely!)
6) Food shopping.
With people coming over, that's probably all I'll get done.
Have a nice day all!

Well after spending the morning in a grump I went back to bed for an hour and felt much better. However, it did mean that floor sweeping and bathroom cleaning didn't happen. Oops! Had a lovely day with OH's friends as we sat helping them make their wedding invites which was fun and very MSE!
Main plan for today is to get organised with hospital bag. Have printed a really good list off HIPP website so need to check out what I still need and head out shopping.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Well had a lovely bank holiday with OH. We got the train into town (something we've never done before!) and as sad as it may sound it felt like we were actually going out somewhere different instead of just jumping in the car. Plus it was only £4.40 for the two of us to have a day return which would have covered maybe 2 hours parking maximum!
Have brought some more bits and bobs ready for baby and things I needed for hospital bag. Plus picked up little freebie bag of goodies from Argos which is always nice. We were naughty and ate lunch out (again this weekend! Oops!) but felt nice to be getting organised even if we spent more money than we have.
Then came home and pottered about in the nursery looking at what we have and what we don't and OH put the pram together so I really feel that baby is on the way...
Today is all about going back to work on Thursday so have a list of jobs to sort out. I can't believe the summer holidays have gone already but I have only got 12 days before maternity leave so have to remember not to moan. Might go write a list so I know what actually needs organising....Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Well I got some school work done but my main achievement of the day was spending ages researching new mobile phone contracts and then calling O2 to cancel my contract which runs out this month anyway and they matched the new deal I'd found. Yay! :j I currently spend on average £45 a month and my new deal with a new phone is £16.25 including VAT. They do not advertise any such deal on their website or in their shop. So glad I called!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0

Well the last day of the holidays is here and my lie in didn't come to fruition as I woke up at 6.30am! Am up and showered and dressed and just looking at the dog looking at me and debating whether we should go for a walk!
Also just enjoyed some lovely breakfast cereal, following Martin's advice to try a lower level version of something. Instead of £2.05 for a 500g box I got two 750g boxes for £2 and they taste just the same.
Today I'm heading off to pick up my first dog coat orders, have 8 coats to get done this weekend (though 3 of them I'm not charging for as it's a friend who just did a free maternity photo shoot for me so it's all fair!) but at least that means business is getting started. Yay!
Then it's school work, bit more work organising hospital bag and getting a trim this evening.
Have a good day everyone! Especially shoegal as you seem to be the only one who reads my diary and makes me feel slightly less insane at wittering to myself. Ha!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Well I managed two days back at work...leaving only 10 before maternity leave! :j Was really tired on Thursday though and had to come home and go to bed for an hour. It was only a training day but I guess my brain isn't used to having to work so hard! Ha!
Going to brave the wii this morning and try and do some gentle yoga as have been feeling really achy this week. Then the plan is housework, housework, housework!
Have a good day all. xxxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
