just relaxing and wanting to get tomorrow over as then thats work over for a week:rotfl:
DH just saw my pc wallpaper of connor temple and said he looks like he needs a wash, apparently all men I like have the same look:o
I did like Pete dohertys look in his early days before he looked pasty sweaty and bloated:o:eek:, and johnny depp as captain jack...i like a bit of guyliner:cool:
Oh and Halight........connor temple or stardrops....no contest really:rotfl:0 -
Late one from me, had my nose to the grindstone sorting papers, and then been to see DGNeice & DGNephew, the DGNeice is doing well with here knitting, apart from gaining some stitches, but in true fashion she let me pull it all out and start again as I have explained knitting takes lots of practice, and not to get upset if it goes wrong... Just taken all my fruit, veg, and "normal" cheese to their Mum & Dad, yes I could have done things with it for the freezer, but they can use up, and do need a helping hand, also took the rest of the buns I had made so that I do not eat them:o
Still need to pack, though have got most of the clothes out of the wardrobe, need to pop into town and Aldi tomorrow, can see a late night tomorrow and early Wednesday so we are ready to make the "window of time" when getting over Dartford is not too painful.
Stardrops is in Home Bargains and Wilkinsons too, not sure of the price there.
Pen-Pin ((hugs)) hope you get the legal bits sorted out. Jackie-0 Thoughts with the family.
Hi Zippy you don't pop in very often "Happy New Year" to you and Pen-Pen.
(((hugs))) to those with the lurgy, please keep it :rotfl:

Right - where do you look online for recipes? trying to mix things up in our household and try new things. So where do you go for inspiration?Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

I usually start at the BBC website, you can stick in ingredients, or chef or programme, its a good starting point.
Then when you get a recipe you can tweak it to suit you.whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Taplady,
Iv just seen the wether report on the telly, We very well might have snow on thursday this week. They are also saying rain on friday so the snow should not be sticking arounf long if it dose come.
I'm hoping it doesn't come at all!jackieglasgow wrote: »halight I think Marie was making a reference to you buying mrs halight a bottle of stardrops for her birthday
I though it was the bit about Mrs halight not fancying it(or the beef);):p:D
I'm sure she'd love a bottle of Stardrops girls - especially if he hands it over wearing his woolly jumper:p;):rotfl::DDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I think girls, it would be interesting to see where Mrs Halight would put the said bottle of Stardrops if he were to dare give her one for a birthday gift. I feel it would not be gentle and he could talking with a high pitched voice afterwards.
