First cloudy day since instal on Saturday: I suppose it WAS just too good to be true
Will be interesting to see how production is affected today.
Mon 15.38 Tues 15.27 Wed 15.05 Thur 14.80, perhaps my efficiency is decreasing day by day.....

(still new to this so perhaps a bit keen on the monitoring!)
0.5 reduction in 4 days, hence 1 every 8 days so presumably in 15 weeks or so you'd be at zero output
Don't worry - it's not going to happen. I too have dropped slightly every day for last 4 days but I was much lower last week and (in unlikely event forecasters have got it right) will probably produce very little tomorrow.
Wait till you start examining shape of output curve and trying to predict which dip was a cloud etc. Then you can feel a bit keenNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

It would certainly pay you (albeit not very much !) to make that assumption.
Every chance of making a few kwh this afternoon - but reading meter about now would move them into April so they'd be worth an extra 2p each.
Of course if your FIT payer is left alone to calculate the month end reading they might well base calculations on a 'normal' year (which probably wouldn't have a week of unbroken sunshine in March) hence underestimating the figure to use for today

Like many people - perhaps the majority of domestic pv system owners - this will be my first experience of a rate change, and I bow to Jackie's greater experience. In any case I'll be doing my own calculations; and if, like many people, I'm going to be more than 30% over the standard estimate for my system, I'm going to take a time-dated photo of the export meter as well.

Umm sorry to be dense, but what is changing?
(Had the most awful night due to a vicious bull terrier attacking our sweet Shih Tzu, having to call police as the dog was trying to get in our home, and needing to get to the emergency vetso my brain just isn't working).

The 43.3p rate is going up to to 45.4p due to inflation from the 1st April.
The current 21p rate will remain unchanged.
Export tariff with raise from 3.1p to 3.2p.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Is it OK?
