93kWh so far this month (2.22kWp)
Prediction is 154kh, so 93kWh half-way through the month not too bad at all! :)
2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end
    MFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
    2021 £1250.00, 2022 £1500.00, 2023 £1500, 2024 £1350
    2025 target = £1200, YTD £690

Freejuice - question - noticed from your website that your experiences of Homesun weren't good and that they didn't return your deposit. Why was that?

My March Blog updates that. Maybe I should link it back to the Homesun page. Will do it.

    Thanks for the update.

Read the blog - I think you are being hard on yourself about the choice of panels. I'm sure the relative efficiencies between panels is not overwhelming on a month by month basis.

I think, at present, you are simply unlucky with the weather!

O.K. This just has to be done.(Sorry Cardew;)) Best day ever 24.94kWh today and it is just 5.30pm. This makes up for a dreadful week. In fact by 10.30am I think I had made more than the rest of the week put together. About time too!!!!:D

You always seem to do (proportionate to system size) just a little bit better than me TG but as you say, better than all of the last six days.

March is now up to 96% of prediction for me.

    Would congratulations be in order;)

Actually the huge differences in daily output add weight to the notion that it is very difficult to 'plan' consumption to match generated output.
Even on a sunny day, a cloud passing over can reduce output a great deal and during that few minutes of reduced output the appliance carries on drawing power from the grid.

A washing machine on a 90 minute cycle is only drawing lots of power for a few minutes when the heater is on. My oldish washing machine only consumes 0.4kWh or 0.6kWh on most of the complete washing cycles.

I wonder what the percentage difference in savings(of power consumed in the house) would be between those who carried on using their normal routine and those who put a great deal of effort into trying to match consumption to generated power?

We can only speculate, but I suspect it would be less than 10% over a year. Almost insignificant alongside the income from FITs.

    Best ever day here too!:D
Remote monitor says 14kWh, generation meter says 13kWh - either way was still the best to date :j
More days like today please! (but a bit warmer would be nice)
