Sorry for the long absence everyone, it was due to different circumstances. I hope I don't get a smacked bum from anyone :rotfl:....Some people like that sort of thing, or so I hear :p.
Right, I'll give you all a quick update about some of the things I've done :D.

    • A certain famous washing machine stopped working ... I thought a true extreme money saver would wash their clothes by hand or with a poss stick - but I didn't fancy that :p. So I looked for a part (brushes), I consulted a large parts supplier. They informed me that said machines 'brushes' came as a complete unit with the motor. This was over a £100 . I sucked my teeth and said no thank you; for a start, you can pick up a second hand machine for less. I called the machine manufacturer, the same thing spouted from their lips. So I looked on e**y. After photo swapping and discussing the situation with a supplier, I got some parts that had the same markings. Hey presto, they fit :j:D:j...Only £9.99 Mmmmm
    • Drying machine, broke, there was no heat coming through. For a decent second hand machine, roughly £90 upwards, for a new one roughly £200.So off on a search, for a heating element I went. Over £50 in some places, thanks to some research, I picked one up from e**y, only £24 approximately :p Yee haw...:rotfl:...
    • Tyre on the car was on it's way out...Searched all over nearly £50 and upwards for a budget one in my size (it's awkward like me :D). Wasn't as keen on this, as some budget ones I bought recently, slipped round on water, like a drunk on ice . Off I went searching, I finally found a Continental tyre for £30 (which is still going strong). On top of that they normally go for £80 upwards - good times :p...
There are loads more things to tell you about, but I'm starting the year afresh on this challenge from now :T. I'm hoping to start showing you a lot more pics, and I'll be asking the rest of you and the forums for a lot more help :rotfl::D:rotfl:. I'm probably going to need it :D:whistle:.

Hope you've all had a good year, if not I hope next year's better for you .
