  • Hello all, what a great thread! will def be subscribing!

Re: Teabags. I am a huge tea drinker but have managed to switch to lidl cheapo ones, 27p. I've been buying them for over a month now and I personally think they are quite nice and none of my friends have complained yet!

Thought it was worth a mention

Pay off as much as you can in 2011 #130. £1418.70/£4500.
Debt Dec 10 £14,133. Now £11,988 (Work in progress)
  • I'm definitely more of a bulk buyer. My last bag of teabags was bought last year (can't remember when) from costco. Typhoo bags, 1100 for £9.99, but it was 50% extra free so 1650. It takes forever to drink that much.
  • I second Lidl's 80 teabags for 28p... we are big tea drinkers (& there are 6 of us so we get through them quickly) and find them better than the more expensive ones :)

To everyone who's asked (PM'd me and anyone who's curious)), I haven't give up...I will be doing an update soon (and was meant to do one earlier) :D. Unfortunately, I've had (and still have) a bug ...it's not been to pretty :p. I don't do generally do 'ill', so I knew it was bad when the dog stuck to me like glue and kept nudging me and whining :rotfl:. The lovely wife even give me a look of sympathy, instead of mockery (I know, I was shocked too :p:D:p). I've been trying to do little jobs, ie laundry etc. ;). So that's pleased her :D:p:D.
I'm only having a quick look on MSE today, but will do an update at the weekend :j. Hope your all keeping well...and having a good MSE week .

I'm loving this thread and it's positivity. and will certainly be stealing some of the ideas within this.

(MIT - I'd love to knit but have stalled on a pattern that calls for stocking stitch - does this mean I have to start with a knit row or pearl row)

N1 - I nearly splurted tea all over my screen reading about the SP-1. Hope you have much better luck with SP-mark2. Agree with Gemini that the bugs this year are just horrendous. My LO has been struck by this 3 week cold and DH is now not-dying with man-flu (i'm not all that sympathetic - but I am finishing growing a human person over the next 5 months :D).
