Greetings fellow flylady dwellers ;) hope you are all well. I've decided this week to start seeing if I can work properly from the lists. Instead of loosing my place all the time I'll keep one post with all my lists and just keep editing, that means this post :) will always have my list and I won't copy it in any posts, just refer to it. Soooooooo 49 is mine :) I haven't got time to keep searching for posts etc and flying an meetings/conferences/studying/voluntary work etc. Thank you to FCC girlies, I'm very much in for the week

Out most of tomorrow with DPs club, didn't realise he'd booked something to be honest but anyway that'll take up a chunk of my day. I'm in - although I fancy hibernating for the week rather than going back to work  :o

    Same here! :(

Cottage pie made with lurking veg, leek chopped up instead of onion in with the beef, and parsnip and butternut squash in with the potato. That sounds so yummy. Will have to make it for me and kids as DH doesn't like any of the ingredients other than meat and spuds.

Think I have a hormonal headache again, seems to get me every month so any cures known fire away. It's a safe indicator for me that AF is on her way. Other than sleep and parrots/ibuprofen, there's not much I can do.

I'm in this week - thanks to FCC for the thread. The emphasis for me is on dot-to-dotting in the room of the day. If I keep on top of dailies and do at least 15 minutes every day (and keep that bits tidy that I've done), then things must get better eventually, even if it takes ages. Work will be crazy right from the beginning, so I am going to need to pace myself.

Can I ask for some advice please? I cooked brisket in the SC for tea and the kids loved it, but DH didn't enjoy the meat at all, which isn't like him. There's lots left and I don't want to simply heat it in gravy. I've tried making rissoles before and they didn't go down well, either. Any ideas how to use it for tea tomorrow? Thanks in advance.

Bother. Rissoles would have been one of my first suggestions. How about stovies? Boil carrots (3 or 4), a couple of onions, with half a turnip and some potatoes. Mash together. Add some shredded brisket and a wee bit of gravy. (I would normally go round to the butcher for a tub of stovie gravy at 60p but it's basically just the meat part of the dripping from a roast)

    or
Stick the cubed remains of the brisket into the SC again with some chopped floured kidney, carrots, onions, mushrooms- that type of thing, and use it as a base for either steak and kidney or bolognaise or something like that.

    or

slice and freeze and bring it out for random sandwiches, but served with horseraddish or some other disguising flavour.
