    Hi I'm a newbie

Definitely in need of inspiration to stop living in chaos. I've heard lots of good things about Flying from a recovering slovenly friend :D

I'm aiming for level 1. Usually when I tried to tackle tidying I start all enthusiastic do loads, get bored and give up. So baby steps. Although that being said my kitchen surfaces are covered in paperwork to be sorted / shredded plus a little heap of recycling in corner of floor too. I presume merely moving these to another room counts as cheating?!

Hi Shelley, have a tree so our meeter and greeter spots you and sends a welcome PM :xmastree: Level one and baby steps is a good plan for now! As for moving things from one hotspot to another - it will only come back and bite you in the bum later in the week!

Yet ANOTHER gray day - we haven't seen the sun since boxing day..... and there's reports of snow in the area but none here yet.

Must do some housework today - I've done precious little over the break...

Nooo... don't want anymore snow yet :( You're right, it's grey and miserable.

Woke at 4am with a migraine, so then overslept once I'd beaten it into submission. However, I have folded some clean laundry, cleared up a bit in the kitchen (need to bung some stuff in an outside freezer), had breakfast and done some washing up. So I'll dress, and then do what I can before heading off to see my brother.

I also have an expense report to submit which is overdue, so I'm hoping that ex-OH will text me back the expense code as I'm not sure which one to use :o he texted yesterday to sort out a time for me to go over and drop of his stuff and collect mine :( Not sure I can cope with it at the moment, but need to get it over with. Hopefully we'll manage to talk, if either of us are up to it.

Happy New Year to all Flyladies!

Hopefully I will be more organised and will be able to take up the Flylady challenge properly this year - I must be more proactive and prioritise accordingly! Although pre-Christmas is always busy, and probably wasn't the best time of year to start - so now I have no excuses.

Seems I have made a start then! :rotfl: Might go out for a drive later (while the weather is reasonable - dog needs a good long stroll and hubby needs the driving practice - his first test is VERY soon!) but I should be able to fit in some other tasks during the day.

Happy flying in 2011 everyone! :j

Hi ladies. Can I join please??? I know I've done this in the past, but I've always tried to be too perfectionist and fallen off the wagon. I'd like to try again, as a new year, new start and all that. I'm so busy that I know some days I'll get little done, but I'd love to give it a go!

    Thanks for this!
:xmastree: welcome. Perfectionism is the route to all evil, I know :(:o:p Get into the mind set that something is better than nothing and you will be fine

BIG hugs Mumto5. What you need to do now is have a screaming abdabs fit - however difficult a concept that may seem to you.

Sadly I find that this method is the most effective :o

:xmastree: welcome, good luck and enjoy

Toots glad to see you list for this week is more manageable and hope you improve every day x

Mumof2 hope you feel more settled now you have made the
    decision

JoJo thank you so much for the trumpet advice, I'll check for dinks and alignment and but the clean is the option - never done that before. Do we need brushes (only have a mouthpiece one), I'll see if there is a clip on youtube as to how to do it.

AnW'sMum Mine have been to climbing parties and really enjoyed it. DS2 had a party when he was 8. DS3 is going to go go-carting and just take one friend and DS2 for his birthday (9) this year :T

Off to shower and then out with DS1 to look for trainers for his enormously wide plates of meat.

Working to my own list this week. Bedroom should be finished enough later to put the furniture back, put on clean bedding and the washed curtains.
