I am still here, just. Been a bit difficult with the move etc. But here I am again, trying to get a routine started here in the new house, as well as continue to unpack.
Firstly I must get a new mopbucket! The one I had has lost the top of it somehow!, and the handle had already gone.
For now its going to have to wring the mop out by hand!. I will wear my new rubber gloves though!.
Hands still not healed from cleaning cottage without gloves. Not good. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Morning all
Hugs, greenbee. I can't think of anything to say that would make it easier, but I hope you get the chance to talk things through.
A late start here again (wish I wasn't such a night owl). DH has gone out to do a hair cut and he'll take recycling stuff to Mr A's afterwards, once he's had a cuppa. Can't persuade him to spend the day flying, but at least he's settled for a walk, rather than yet another day spent looking around shops. The first lot of brisket will be turned into a curry later (Thanks for the suggestion, shortbird, but DH doesn't like chili, either .) and I'll stick the rest in the SC with some veg for tea tomorrow.
Time to put the kettle on, along with DW, WM and TD. Planning to make some progress in the kitchen today.
See you all later.
Forgot to say: running to catch up with everyone for the HHC.0 -
DD has finally surfaced and is still feeling pretty rough, all shivery and achy so I'll ground her for the day. She's talking about going to the chemist but I've said I'll do that for her..
Bacon and mushroom omlette sandwich scoffed for breakfast - yum!
Now off to try and do some housework in this stygian gloom that means I need the lights onI am the leading lady in the movie of my life
