So now they offer a Charity Registration number - which leads to the newly registered (September 2010) "KRISIS KIDS (Working Name )". They can't even spell the name consistenty. Based in Birmingham. Seem to be linked to a Limited company (no 06614134) with same directors/trustees. There is an 0121 phone number.0

I'd steer well clear. I notice they mention CRB checks. The personal info you have to supply to get a CRB is sensitive information and could easily be used for ID theft or other fraud, especially as they ask for proof of ID like a passport and utility bills or mortgage statements etc. Please be very careful.0

Contact the charity to let them know, they'll have more clout at hounding the scammer.
I presume this is the legit charity (not to be confused with the moron who can't even put together a simple email scam) http://www.charitiesdirect.com/charities/krisis-kids-ltd-1137830.html0

Indeed the gmail.com email address should have had you wondering.
Costs £7/year to get an actual domain name.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

Report the 'charity' to the charities commission, and the company to trading standards, and draw this matter to the attention of the job centre (or whoever is responsible for maintaining the gov website).
It is obviously a scam - no legitimate employer uses a mobile number and gmail address, nor would a legitimate employer offer you a job without an interview and taking up references.
I understand why desperate job seekers *want* to believe a job offer is genuine, but please don't let this cloud your judgement.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
