TBH for myself i would stay clear, if i had any such doubts or concerns i wouldnt entertain it. As Pastures said even the most basic of info like charity number is given and searching on the charity commisions website gave me nada. Searched a variety of key words crisis4kidsuk, crisis 4 kids, crisis kids, crisis uk
none come up with any resultapart from crisis uk, which was aimed at homing the homeless

If legit, they wont have a problem in sneding it. If no reply you know where you stand

If they do reply with a number check it out anyway just in case they try and fob you off with a random number.Work in progress.0 -
