Well done for getting it with survey money etc. :j
I still would love one...but not sure I *need* it, it just looks beautiful. I love my iPhone so would love a big version. Maybe I just need a very kind hubby who'll buy me it;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
If you'd be happy with the iPad 1 I'm sure there are reconditioned ones for good prices since the ipad2 came out as some people would have sold the 1st (hardly used) to get the 2nd version....
KM slinks off with head hung in shame for tempting you again..WHAT is wrong with me I'm supposed to be doing the opposite:p0 -
If you sign up to eReaderIQ.co.uk, they will send you an email every day with a list of the free kindle books available from Amazon for that day. There is usually a good variety.0

Hahahaha oh KM you really are testing me aren't you?!?!:rotfl:
But no, I wouldnt be happy with the first iPad, I'm one of those who like the new up to date ones...if I could swap my iPhone 4 for a 4S then I would:) New gadgets...i'm such a boy like that;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Today has been an NSD....must stay away from Kindle books that aren't free now tonight;) Spent £2.90 on groceries on the way home - bread, lettuce and donuts. I'll go to big T's after work tomorrow for a bigger shop. I shouldn't need to get too much - there's plenty in the house. I'm about to write my list, the meal plan has been done.
Dinner's in the oven - jacket pots for dd2 and I, leftover spag bol from Tues for dd1. Nice easy meal. Girls are out at cheer now so I'll get my list done and then need to compile a list of books I want to get in the libraries. I'll nip to the local college one tomorrow and then to the Uni one on Saturday when it's quiet. I have to do the timed essay next Friday...eeeek:eek: It's on teamwork...yuk, give me one on theories of learning any day.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Very good on the NSDs :T whenever I try that challenge I fail miserably, although thinking about it I've probably done OK this year without even trying (because I'm not keeping tabs on it probably
).
Your timed essay will be fineIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
So, that's me finished for the weekend:beer:
I've just had lunch - I resisted getting my usual sarnie on the way home and made a ham and cheese toastie at home which was yummy...so saved £2;)
I have my meal plan and small shopping list - will go and do that soon. Also I need to nip to the college library and just remembered I need to go to the council offices. I put my income into the benefit checker on the council website and it says I should get £5 a week council tax benefit...which I don't. I have never had CT benefit...when I applied for HB when we moved in here I was told that the application was for CT benefit too. I rang up aboutn it and was told to go in and apply - so fingers crossed...£20 a month better than nowt:D
Girls are at their dad's tonight until tomorrow evening so I can have a lovely quiet night - probably with a ridiculously early night - just because I can:rotfl: I need to go to uni library too...that's about 20min away so will do that in the morning, it'll be lovely and quiet then too.
Ok...best go out now.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Yep, £5.01 a week CT benefit for me - so that'll come off my CT bill which will make my monthly CT about £66 now;) I'm a bit cross that I haven't had this before - first claimed HB in 2008 and assumed I wasn't entitled to CTB as I filled in the form for them both and only ever got HB. I guess I didn't pay CT for 2 years when I was classed as a FT student so it's not as much as I originally though that I haven't had.
I have no idea how but I spent £59 in T's:eek: Was not impressed with that:( I did get toilet rolls and 2 lightbulbs for the girls new lamps that came to £8. Also got a few bits of meat...I must really rein in the grocery spends until the end of the month now:o We're not at home next weekend, Friday and Sat at my mum's so that's 2 meals I don't have to buy...and maybe she'll feed us Sunday, we'll see:D
I only managed to get 2 books from the college library - it's not a great one. The uni one is brilliant, I love it there...will go in the morning, when all the students are still in bed;)
I had enough points with mysurv£y for a £5 Amazon voucher yesterday - that could buy me a new Kindle book soon:D
Off to upload my barcodes and receipts from my shopping to Shop+Scan.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
