Same here. I used to be a prolific reader when i was younger - sometimes with 2 or 3 books on the go at the same time. Can't read for longer than 20 minutes now before I fall asleep!pixiechick99 wrote: »DD2 seems to be a bit better now, that's a day of the antibiotics so hopefully she'll be a lot better in the morning too. She's been soooo looking forward to the concert, I want her to be full of beans to enjoy it:)
Good to hear that. I hope she has a lovely time.
Hope you have an undisturbed night tonight. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Off work today as dd was up in the night with the other ear really hurting her:( We were up on and off from 2 til 5.30 when I finally dropped off properly, urgh. So had a nap this morning and she's spent most of the day asleep so far. Luckily the ears aren't painful now, just blocked. Bless her, she has been so excited about the concert tonight then she goes and gets unwell, it's kind of put a dampener on the build up - but she'll love it once they're there:p
So, not much done today - at least it'll be an NSD. DD wants some throat sweets so have asked ex to get her some on his way to pick her up later - saves me going out AND paying;)
I have a pile of cds/dvds that no one wants so going to plug them into musicmagpie and see if I can make a few pennies. Also I could dig out the bits I have to sell on ebay.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
That's dd, her friend and the ex gone to the concert - it's 2hrs away so I don't expect her back til about midnight. She's dosed up with paracetamol, but feels ok now thank goodness. She'll have a fab time.
I sat and sorted selling a pile of old cds and dvds to Music M@gpie - £11 worth...so that could go in the Kindle fund;) I do have lots more cds in the shed - so will go through them at some point. I know a lot of them go for just 30p but they add up...and £11 is better than a pile of old cds cluttering up the place. A couple were valued at more so checked Amazon and was better to list them there.
So, another NSD...I'm on a roll:) I do need petrol - will get that on Friday I think. Was going to nip to T's for some food shopping but A's have sent me a free delivery code so I might consider a delivery and save me a trip:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
£27.15 on Onepoll
405 points on mysurvey (so need 145 more for a voucher)
850 points on valued opinions
19800 with Shop+scan - so next week I'll hit 20000 and can get £20 Amazon voucher:beer:
That Kindle won't be long;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yes they usually kick in after about 24 hours. i think whenever anything on your head hurts, everything hurts

Hope she enjoys the concert - late night on a school night, I think I would struggle getting in at midnight! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Yep I might look back at my one poll account it's been that long I wonder if I've lost the money I had built up oops.
You're doing well funding your kindle. I have an iPad so I should look into getting books on that instead of being tempted by the kindle...
Hope DD had a good time, sounds like ex making more of an effort lately?0 -

Oooooh an iPad...now if I could save for that I would..but I'd be collecting vouchers forever:rotfl: I sooo want one though...:D
Yes ex is being ok now - he pays up when asked and has been much more useful than he used to be. It is better him living back here now (not living with me, in the same area I mean;)) - he can see the girls much more regularly and is much more involved...can only be good for them.I really need to sort out a new signature!0
