In suitcases or big bags up the attic!!
We really dont have room to keep stuff in wardbrobes and drawers so it has to go up. Girls dont have the same amount of winter/summer stuff as they used to but still easier to separate some stuff and get it out the way. I have quite a lot of cropped jeans/trousers that take up too much room in the drawers/wardrobe. My attic's so easy to get up to, it is just as easy to fling it all in bags/cases and whack it up there out the way:D

I also have a zip up storage bag that slides under my bag - think it's full of bikinis and summer pyjamas at the mo!

Interesting thought. I have a set of holiday clothes that I wear for my sunshine holiday abroad once a year but are a bit too short and strappy for wearing at home. They come out then get washed and put away in an ottoman. Winter clothes seem to hang in the wardrobe all the year round with big coats moving to the back in summer months. Jumpers have their own permanent drawer as do tops/tee shirts. It seems that it's only cropped/linen trousers and a few tops that go in the wardrobe just for the summer. Cardigans/black trousers/jeans seem a permanent feature!

I have a load of stuff to be getting on with today...didnt get much done around here yesterday. DD1 and I went into town and she got a nice pile of things - she is paying me half of some things as they were more than I'd like to pay!

Better get on with the list:
    • check banking later
    • have arranged courier collection for Next stuff and Littlew00ds undies I ordered
    • Sort all the piles of clothes upstairs - winter coats are ready to go in a box up the attic as will woolies. I'll keep longsleeved tops for a while yet.
    • Hoover upstairs
    • Ironing
    • Uni work - must do this as have group presentation prep to get ready
    • cook a roast for later - might get veg prepared early
    • Have a good tidy/clean up as house has got very messy:o
    • get rubbish/recycling out for the morning
    Ok, that'll do for now.

    Ok - quick update.
So far I've rung and cancelled my car insurance - I changed it, cheaper and also £60 hopefully through Quidco.
The winter coats are up the attic which has left the coat hooks in the hallway lovely and clear;) Also put winter PJs and some jumpers in bags up the attic. Have tidied up the bags of summer stuff that are lurking in my room and on the landing - there's a lot of stuff that's for ebay and lots of vest tops that wont get worn yet.

Potatoes are peeled and in the pan ready for later. DD2 and I have just made banana muffins which are in the oven. I froze the other 4 very ripe bananas I had ready to bake with another day.

All the returns are packed ready to go back to Next/L-woods. I ordered lots of new bras from L-woods, all diff sizes as I never know what size I need:o I only kept on 2-pack, lovely bras for £23 the pair. Next stuff was from the sale, ordered in my VIP slot on Thurs - didn't like much but have kept a nice blue ditsy print top for £7 and a black handbag, £15 - will keep that for the winter. Have booked the courier to collect it all tomorrow.

Washing is just finished in the machine so will go put that on the line now the sun's come out. Washed a load of tops that came down from the attic, freshen it all up:D Just adds to my enormous ironing pile tho:(

I even left lots of it (the urgent stuff) on the back of the sofa, to remind me...but it's been there all week...I'm a master at ignoring it:rotfl:
Must do it tonight - will multi-task and do it while Dancing on Ice is on!

I'm loving the sunny evening...6 o'clock and sun still shining into the house, so good:D

Not a lot to report - NSD today and yesterday. I need one more after today to scrape in my target of 10 in March. It won't be tomorrow as i'm in college all day so will need a coffee, or three, during the day:D So today and Thursday to get my 10;)

My very kind friend has offered my girls her old trampoline - a bigger one than we have. Ours is too small for my tall girls now, they don't use it, so to squeeze a bigger one in will be fab - she doesn't want money but I have told her she's getting some, even if she gives it to her daughters. So that's being brought round tonight - doubt I'll be able to put it up on my own...she's offered her husband at some point too (how kind;)).

All day at college tomorrow...planning our group presentation, so that'll be ok, just in our group of 4. I need to do more preparation for it tonight - come up with some bright ideas for our lesson plans.

I'm doing a new meal tonight - beefy mince and pasta bake. It uses a pack of minced beef, condensed tomato soup and pasta, with some veg in - looks and sounds good. Hopefully we'll have another meal that we all agree on:p
