I'm having a rather nice cheery day:beer:
Just come home from lunch to DD1's school report and it's fab...she's a clever, lovely girly, am very proud! (Even though she does drive me mad at times;)).
Also...last night I finished the last of my horrible 1st year work-based assignments (I hate work based ones) - so pleased to have them out the way and can concentrate on the Y2 stuff. So another smiley thing.
Also - Quidco paid me £72 today, that's definitely worth smiling about:D
Had a good weekend - we nipped to my sis for Sat night, home on Sunday afternoon. All I bought was wine and cider for Sat, a £1.24 dinner for me and some pringles for the girls. On Sunday I did the week's shopiing with my sisters discount card so spent £39...£9 did include a reduced box of more cider...so £30 on the week's food.
Must get back to work now - college tomorrow and I must go as we're doing some preparation in our groups so I have to join in;)
Hope all you reading are well:AI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Quick list of my meal plan for th week:
Mon: Curry for girls, hotpot out of freezer for me
Tues: SPag bol/chilli
Wed: Either Paprika chicken and wedges or BBQ chicken and wedges
Thur: Jackets and chicken
Fri: Not sure if girls here or not - if not, sweet and sour for me - if they are I need to think!
Sat: Risotto with salami, chicken and pepper
Sunday: Not decided-just me to feed!
OK, back to work:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Sounds like a very happy day for you all round. I'm sure DD1 deserves a small treat for all her hard work. Now back to yours.....but you deserve a good report too.;)0

Lots of Onepoll surveys today - am on £15.65 now, over a £1 earned today:beer: I think I'm on £9.50 on Valued Opinions too...not been doing them lately but then logged in, was on £8 so thought I must make it to £10 soon...nearly there;)
Dinner is on - spag bol sauce which I'll give dd1 then turn into chilli for dd2 and I. So, today was an NSD...forgot to nip to the shop but nothing was urgent. I need some chicken drumsticks for tomorrow's meal so will go to big T's on the way back from college.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Yes Onepoll has been very generous - think I earned £1.25 today, now up to £4.10
I like Valued Opinions too, the amounts add up really quickly - it's not so bad when you have a smaller target.
Lovely to have a nice school report - you can take lots of credit for that too :TIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I never thought of it - does it taste quite different from cow's milk? The lactofree milk's great as it doesnt taste any different....don't like change, me;);)
I must try some normal cheese soon and see if there's any effect - I miss strong cheddar, yum.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

I found the lacto-free cheese very mild and bland. Quite rubbery too. I have had some strong normal cheddar and not noticed to much of a difference. Maybe it's OK in smaller quantities? I do like the milk though, as you say tastes no different, and as that is the thing I have in a large quantity I think I'll stick with it.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I guess if I use strong cheddar then you only need a little to get the strong taste...the lactofree stuff is pretty boring isnt it? I also read that the amount of lactose in cheese is quite low anyway, compared to milk and cream...hopefully it wont upset my delicate innards:rotfl:
The lactofree fruit yogurts are very nice too:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I've had a good day here - went to college which wasn't too bad...in the afternoon we starting planning a group presentation we have to do in May, went well and was out by 2. I nipped to Tesco...spent £39 which was more than I had planned...but that included £3.75 on 16 cans of diet coke and got 3 Easter eggs for £2.50 - they're buy 1 get 2 free...bargain! So my nieces are sorted:D Meals are all sorted up to next Thurs I think it is....then my grocery account is allowed to be filled up again. It's on about £8....today I'm afraid I had to use my spending account as I knew grocery one was too low - have gone over my £220 this month already, by about £35 I think:o But I do have a lot of cider haha and tons of crisps. Freezer's not too bad....so will try and use up what we've got before I do another big shop.
Only other spend today was £1 on a coffee....I really need to sort out a new signature!0
