  • Morning all

Didn;t get chance to post yesterday's meal plan so it looked like this - green day:

    B - 2 x pear, banana
L - HM SF spicy carrot and lentil soup, WM roll (HEB)
D - 2 x fajitas (12syns), cheese (2 x HEA and HEB), HM SF veggie chilli, LF sour cream (3syns), lettuce
    Snacks - pear, banana
    Drinks - coffee, water, squash

    Total syns = 15

A lot of pears yesterday but I have 25 to eat up!

I'll try post today's plan later but have a friend coming to stay so may not have time

Hope you all have good days

Hi Guys......can I join you all please. I will be starting my SW diet tomorrow and have been reading this thread to help get some inspiration back.

I did slimming world a few years ago and lost three and a half stone to get to my target weight:D.
However............ I have now put a stone back on so I really need a kick up the bum before this goes much further.

I cant really afford to join a class at the moment and as I now work shifts it is difficult to get to one every week anyway so this afternoon I am going to go out and get myself some digital scales and will weigh myself tomorrow morning.( I have seen some in the local warehouse quite cheap);)

I hope to pop in most days to hopefully give and receive some inspiration/hugs when needed. And also exchange some ideas for recipes etc.

Does anyone know how many syns there are in those new Belvita breakfast biscuits.....I find them really useful for work but I feel they may be high in syns.

    Take care
    Catch you soon

They are either 2.5 or 3 syns each depending on flavour.

High in fat and low in fiber :(

Oh I forgot my manners - welcome :D

    Hi Dizzy,
Thanks for replying and welcoming me, sorry its taking so long to reply. I will try and post the info for the ham tomorrow, please can you tell me which bits you need to know.

I had a i go at a quiche the other day and I used quark instead of cottage cheese as I didn't like the idea of the lumps

the info needed to put anything through the syn calculator is:

    Kcal per 100g
    protein g per 100g
    fat g per 100g
    carb g per 100g
and the size of the pack/tin ;)

to combat the 'lumpy' cottage cheese you could blend it 1st before adding it to the mix to get rid of the lumps.....Im sure someone else does that on here for the very same reason :p

Its star week. 'Nuff said. I will have to go food shopping later on today, and lord I hope I make good choices.

I'm just eating everything in sight, good and bad! Its not even touching the sides, and half the time I'm sure I've got a few bits of food wrapping floating around inside me from being a human vacuum!
