I must be having a daft moment but what site is this in regard to?
"Hello,
I have been entering lots of competitions recently and I came across the "mywinninghomes" website, it apparently gives lots of prizes every month, seems almost too good to be true, unless there is a catch.
I wondered if anyone else has heard of it or registered to compete.
Merlinthe."
The posts got moved from comps. board and then got spreadeagled in here. It looks as if Browntoa is talking to himselfNever put tables and chairs in the same room.
If they congregate together for any length of time, they will inevitably hatch plots against you and your pets.

I'd be very wary of this site if I was you as the promoter is Silver Fern Services Ltd
see the last comp that was posted on mse

and the ASA Adjudication on Silver Fern Services Ltd and the comp posted on mse

since it was brought up earlier as well i wanted to point that out. perhaps i should have come and made that clear in public at the time, sorry for not doing so and thus leaving people to assume we hadnt sorted our differences.
and thank you
Well, I guess this will all come out in the wash as I still don't really understand the new rules - even after re-reading Andrea's post from the other day.
I don't get to post many comps anyway as I just don't seem to be fast enough, and don't want to tread on anyone's toes for the regular posters, so will just get through the comps as best I can and might have to get more selective about which ones I enter if I find it's taking longer.
Also, for PCL's quote:
about dailies.....if things are being posted every day i will not be replacing links every day. sorry to anyone (else) who misses out because a comp is moved to game over on the morning of the day it supposedly ends, or because they dont make it anywhere that day other than dailies but i dont have the time to swap that many links every single day.
If the individual comps only last for one day, then would anything need to go in the dailies thread?
Maybe the more pressing issue is comps geting moved to GO before they should?
Perhaps there could be some way of automating it for BGs so they all get moved as soon as their end date has passed.
That still wouldn't fix the issue with guessed end dates, but might help for the majority of conversations.Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20100 -
IF anyone hasn't received their giftcard prize yet. I've finally managed to find someone who can sort it out

Had a call from Oxfordshire Press about having a subscription to Prize Draw Centre.
I probably couldn't afford the subscription just wondering if anyone had used this & what they thought.
If I'm not allowed to post this please feel free to delete0 -
I'd just use MSE.A lot of promotors do not allow third party entry.Save your money.I'll pm a BG to move this to discussion.Sent to dalkirst

No, you can join the Prize Draw Centre for just £1.95 a week, that's less than you would pay for a coffee in most shopping centres, and we'll find a lot more competitions than you could find in a day's normal shopping.0 -

ive been trying to come up with some way to keep everyone happy with dailies....posting them everyday does not work for anyone except those who enter comps by newly posted threads. if todays argos eg is posted this morning as E:27/01 then people who enter by end next day, so today are entering E:28/01 miss it. if its posted with end date of E:28 to avoid that then people who enter by E27 today miss it as wont find it until tomorrow. its not soley comps moving to game over early that makes end date compers miss them.0 -
