grannybiker had addressed me first then gone on to say she was aware that there were 4 BGs (meaning me and 3 others) 1 is taking time out, 1 can rarely be found online (I've only found them online when I've needed to send a merge etc once in over 2 years of active comping) and the other has clearly said they cba to move comps as they get moaned at!

so what I meant was that she had described the other 3 BGs and I'm the 4th one, not dalkirst as Matryoshka posted

unless anyone thinks I fit into one of the 3 descriptions above

I've never used the subscriptions as i'm 99% always uptodate on comps xxx

Oh before i forget, could a trail pls be left for a few hours on any comps moved from main board it really does help xxxx

leaving a redirect for a day shouldn't be a problem for a while and it might be a way of pointing people to the regs board and what type of threads should be posted there

the more regs that get posted in the regs board when originally posted, the easier keeping up with them will be, just clicking on the new topic button each time you check the board will bring up the newest comps

I've had quite a few pm's about ideas for the regs board which I'm reading through, and I'll look at back at all the suggestions here too

I'm sure if we all keep working on it the regs board will be able to run smoothly alongside the main board as it was meant to

multiple entry comps should be in the regs board as things stand on the MSE comp board at the moment and all the BGs are only following those rules if we move threads over

maybe because M hadn't followed the whole conversation on here where grannybiker had been posting about me and then described what she thought of the other 3 BGs

Hi,hope it's ok just for me to add a bit.I think all the BG staff are valued but I tend to pm any merges to either Dalkirst or Glad as I find that they are online more plus they tend to promptly sort them.
The merge would not be such an issue if each member who posted a dupe "killed " the link & edited the title when the dupe was spotted.By kill the link I mean overwrite it with such as "DUPE DUPE" so that anyone clicking it gets nowhere.Duplicating an entry from that post is not then possible.I now follow this when I have posted a duplicate.

I noticed that there is a statement saying the forum will be down today.

Just wondered if anyone can shed some light as to how long for and when this will begin?

I'm desperately squeezing in as many as I can before the lock down (clearly I have a problem...lol).

Mse usually give a time but none is mentioned.I'm back at work tomorrow & we have an internet ban on so my postings will be down :-(
