Thank you PPD, I am sorry, but I don't know what it was like before to compare it too, iyswim, but it looks ok to me. Something that I would love to know is if it is a New Monthly Comp link if possible please.

I posted earlier in this thread about 3 monthly comps that had changed, I'll add them to the end of the Monthly thread now as well. Thank you for all your work, xxx

whoo hoo, made it all the way through the regs board, and am very pleased with myself BUT....

Help - has anyone got any tips or ideas that will make it faster to enter the Whats on TV and Nuts daily comps please

I am posting this on the main board so that it can be seen by the mainstream users of MSE no doubt it will soon be moved along with all of the other numerous post's from the main board and hidden somewhere in the bowels of the Regulars board

I have been keeping out of the New year discussions regarding the regulars board as I felt that everything had been talked about and discussed to death before the New Year and I waited with baited breath the poll that we where promised before the New Year

at the risk of upsetting the apple cart and maybe trampling on a few toes by posting this message on the main board, I am going to make my feelings known :p

We where promised a debate and a discussion and a poll before any further changes where made to the Regulars board and all that we have got so father is a rather damp squib with the BG who has instigated change turning a blind eye and not making comment to changes being made to the Regulars board

while I appreciate the efforts that pp and bhg are making to there sticky sections of the board it is akin to a heart surgeon using sticky plaster and tape when major surgery is needed

as I have said previously I appreciate pp and bhg's endeavours but it doesn't make the two boards more interactive and is no more than ornate window dressing in a shop that is losing it's potential customers

major changes still need to be made to make the two boards more interactive

I myself am still of the opinion that the Regulars board has lost it's usefulness and that the regulars board should be amalgamated into the main board with sub-sections for the Regular comps or pp and bhgs daily,s weekly and monthly's stickies being moved over lock stock and barrel and seamlessly integrated into the mainstream board

Glad said that in the New Year if people still wanted a poll on how to move the regulars board forward then it would go ahead

now is the time to make your voice heard, I propose that we have a poll and everyone who agrees should now say aye!

I agree with you Amilucky. Whatever is decided there needs to be a decision & that needs to be communicated to Comps forum users. I hadn't even realised what was going on for quite a while until I realised I was seeing less comps & wondered why (I'm not terribly quick on the uptake)

Time for a poll.

I have no idea what this is about but if something is/has been going on, i think that maybe now is the time to let us know about it, any changes etc.

(If anyone can point me in the direction of what has been happening, i would be grateful)

There has indeed been a revival of the lengthy discussions before Christmas. (See discussions boards.) Many very valid points have been made, very eloquently and from different viewpoints. (It's been great to have that debte with no nasty sniping too )
Sadly, there has been absolutely no response from BGs, admin, or anyone who can implement any changes, despite promises this would happen before any changes were made. Therefore, I'm guessing we're stuck with a) no clear definition of a regular, b) comps being removed from the main boards where everyone can see them, and c) folk not sending a link to regs.
