    I saved £582 in July...

    ...which brings my 2014 (to date) total to £5,923...

    ...and my overall total to £80,500!

    I've hit the £80k mark, I'm sooooo chuffed!!!!! I feel like I should celebrate :D

  • Hi, thought I'd join this thread as I've just registered.

    I currently save £250 a month into a regular savings acct which finishes in oct.

    I currently have :-

    Lloyd's cash isa - £6000
    Lloyd's regular saver - £2400
    Easy Saver - £123.

    I'm not saving for anything in particular but I'm hoping to get upto 15k sometime next year.

    Payday update for August! I'm feeling sooo motivated now that I've passed the £80k mark! Haven't decided what to do to celebrate yet, but I'll treat myself to something :)

    I saved £1,047 in August...

    ...which brings my 2014 (to date) total to £6,970...

    ...and my overall total to £81,097!

    Keep at it, everyone! xmillyx, you're doing amazingly wel.! Look at your increase since May! :D

    Thanks Tara! I'm pretty chuffed, though it's nowhere near the dizzy heights of your total :) the OH and I hope to buy in the next couple of months so it's a final push to boost our savings as best we can! :rotfl:

    Mortgage overpayments 2020: £4620
    Mortgage 2017 £145K, June 2020 £112.6k:o

    Bit late on reporting in as I was waiting for some freelance payments to clear but my August end total is £19,787.08. So close to the £20,000 goal now! Hopefully smash it this month and start working towards the next target of £25,000.
    ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)

    I like your idea of having £5,000 increments in your savings goals - I might try that. :) I tend to think in £10,000 milestones, and £90,000 seems so far away.
