oops was wondering why it has !!!! i must have mispelled :rotfl:

    Lol whoops!

Online banking is the best invention ever. Banks that can send or receive faster payments, which is most of the ones I bank with, means I can send a payment from say, HSBC, and log straight onto Halifax and see it there, I can then send it onto Natwest, log onto Natwest, and again it's there waiting for me. The longest I've ever had to wait was about 3 or 4 minutes, however they do warn you that they can take up to 2 hours.

  • Get prepared tonight, so you can go to bed knowing that you've got all your information together, and you won't have to find it half hour before the call tomorrow.

Don't worry about it, try to keep your mind off it, once you've got everything together.

When you've got your money back, we'll help you find the best accounts for you. :)

Just wanted to ask about the 6% A&L account, is it a regular saver where you have to set up a standing order for £250 a month max being £2,500? Was reading about it but didnt quite understand exactly what the terms are.

I have it planned what i am gona say, how i transferred money.

I kept phoning to sort my card, most of the time the fraud number was closed or long queue.

then if they ask why i didn't phone the number on the card saying for promblems, well then i'll bring up about how they blocked my card in LA, and took 5 calls to unblock, so bad service.

and if they ask loads of question i'll mention the fact they let unplanned overdrafts to save embarassment, yet it was embarassing for me in LA, refused at shops, and 5 calls.

surely the call is less then 45mins and its just time slots they have to give so they don't run into someone elses.

i wish it was 9am tomorrow morning already lol, the call is at 8.15

It's a current account, but it pays interest of 6% for the first year on balances up to £2500. So it's well worh using as a savings account, and you *don't* have to switch all your baking to them to use it.

There is a regular saver you can use if you hold this account, but to qualify for this you *do* have to use their switching service to transfer your main current account to them. The regular saver, at 6% is the best you can get at the moment as far as I'm aware, but I'm not going for it as I wish to keep my main current account with HSBC.

Minidannii - at least you're getting it out of the way early. Imagine if you had to wait til 6pm!
