Havent posted for a while on the savings board, recently signed up to the MFW so we are continuing to plough as much as we can into paying off the mortgages. My Regular saver is now 7 months old! it feels random that i will have £2,000 saved by the end of October and I dont seem to have missed a penny. I owe the bank of Mum & Dad around £1000 but aim to pay them off before my regular saver matures so I have all the £3000 + interest to continue saving with!Millionaire in Training

I feel like I haven't had a good month at all in 2009. Maybe my expectations were too high, or maybe I'm simply spending too much. Whatever it is, I think September was another below budget month.
I'm not certain of my figures yet, but I think I've overspent by about £50 in the last 4 months. Which isn't much, but I'd rather have underspent by that.Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012
Progress May-08 19.0%; May-09 40.0%; May-10 63.0%; May-11 58.4%; Jun-11 58.5%; Jul-11 58.9%; Aug-11 58.7%; Sep-11 59.0%

I feel the same. Ever since I've moved out of home and been paying car payments, i've not saved much at all.
Thankfully the car payments stop in March, but still feeling like I don't need the car (or at least one of that age) as I'm so close to work
Keep telling myself.. next month i wont have any big purchases.......0 -

Me and my girlfriend started saving for a deposit last month. We originally put in £500 each, and this month decided to up it to £750 each. So far it has killed me and I am very short now for another 3 weeks, but I'm sure that the discipline that I need will come with time!0
