I've downloaded the free trial of MS Money, but not sure it can do the things I wanted it to do, so might just make an Excel when I get time.

    JimLad - Easily done!

I should be banking £1592 tomorrow, but £1500 of that is money that Mum owed me from last year so that's not exactly representative of my average month! That's going to be winging its way to my ISA in April.

I've just been putting my bags of loose change in my bag ready to take to the bank tomorrow. There's only £12 but it's going to weigh me down no end!

  • I'm sure my bank groan when they see me coming. I have a money pig and when I empty it each month I usually have about 10 bags of change to pay in. Oh and I also had a habit of collecting five pound notes which resulted in a few "so that's where they've all been" comments.

It's been a good month for me though as I've managed to bank £1000 so I think I can grin and bear the remarks from the bank and from my housemate.:D

    Hi,

Just been paid this month (£1,100) and that takes my savings up to £18,800 ish. I'm trying to reach £30,000 by the end of 2009, might be a bit difficult but not impossible.Well done guys.
