I can't see what's going on on the monitor from my sofa - too far away
Thanks for the tip though!
Suzesteady__eddie wrote:If you want to sit on the sofa and surf the net, then you don't want a laptop, you want a wireless keyboard. There's a post on the grabbit board for ebuyer who are currently doing a wireless keyboard AND a wireless optical mouse for £4-99 (no postage if you choose the 5 day option).

Thanks for the suggestion - I think I'll get the laptop first, whatever happens, and see how it goes from there!

I used to have a pc but now just have a laptop- it's great I can sit anyway to work or surf the internet even at the bottom of the garden!!
(Not in this weather though! LOL)
You might be ok with just a laptop? Wireless laptop is brilliant. I have a work laptop and a personal one and it is fantastic to be able to sit anywhere in the house and work or just browse the internet. No need for a specific desk as your knee does just as well.0

Hi
I put the Christmas decorations back up the loft and looking around up there it made me realise how much stuff we have that we will never ever use again up there. So, made a decision that when we get a spare day, when we have nothing to do we'll sort out what is for dumping/recycling and what can be sold on eBay etc. So hopefully this years Spring clean will be a profitable one.0 -

well one option would be a flat screen telly hooked upto laptop / desktop and a wireless keyboard and mouse. (assuming you actualy needed a new tv)If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

I've started doing exactly that. I've made £44 on ebay so far, hoping to make some more before the end of the year.HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE?: OLYMPIC CHALLENGE 2008BRONZE 10% SILVER 25% GOLD 50% PLATINUM 75%'Don't Stop me now, I'm cooking on Gas!' - Peggy Ollerenshaw - Hi-De-Hi!0 -
I'm so annoyed with myself, I have £40 cashback from quidco due at the end of jan which was earmarked for the isa, but I went out last night for a meal. Parked my car in a carpark read the sign and thought I didn't have to pay, but of course I didnt read the sign properly and I was given a ticket for £80 (£40 as I paid straight away) I'm soooo angry with myself for not reading it properly, my partner said he will give me half as he didnt read it either but I told him not to dare, as its my mistake, just when I felt like I was starting to make progress something always comes along and puts me back. Its like 2 steps forward and one 1 back, i'm still making progress but not much!
I'm on standby for work this weekend and was kind of hoping i'd get called out as then all the money I get of standby will go towards savings as I wont be expecting to get it so its an added bonus, instead i've been sitting around for 2 days now in front of the tv, sooo bored!
Sorry just wanted a mini rant and to get my stupidity off my chest!

Does anyone know if you can have more than one ISA? I always manage to fill my £3000 allowance on my ISA immediatley each year, but don't know/understand what other savings accounts I can have with a good interest?
Can anyone help me?
