The only apple products in our house come straight off our trees
I have resisted using the internet on my phone but am getting to the point where I think I will [STRIKE]need[/STRIKE] want to be a little more connected. My sister raves about her ipad/iphone if she carries on I think I'll need to research the cult and possible interventions. That or leap in with both wellies :rotfl:

Having fun. One thing to master - how to get clicking on a link to open a new tab.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Pass - sorry! I'm sure Mr Google could help you with that?0

Well, after a weekend of debauchery and frolics (aka buying a Playbook, having a takeaway, 5 mile walk, tea/cake in garden of tearoom (which somehow turned into baguette/bottle of wine
) and dinner out) it will be back to normal today. Mr GG in bed but I am just about to hit the garage for paint etc to do bathroom. Also need to write shopping list for radiators etc. And hang washing out. Fun, fun, fun
.
Playbook v good. Only really got it to take on holidays (though bit worried if I have internet in Spain you will never drag me away
), we can use neighbours wifi. Also for games etc to keep Mr GG amused . Have mastered most of it, the only thing I can't do is to get it to open pages in a new tab without taking me instantly to the new tab. Hopefully when plinkyplonker (I think the technical term is stylus
) arrives it will be a little easier to use. Bargain, 3 for £1.10. Also bargainous leather cover/stand, £5 something off Amazon (friend spent £70 on cover for her ipad ). Need to explore excel equivalent - will link hotmail account and email an existing one to see how it opens. I can use online banking, but not through Egg money manager so would need to remember all account numbers etc, but that will be v handy
.
So yes, an ipad would be better as it's bigger, this is 7", but I can't justify 4x the cost for something I will only use occasionally (playbook was £129 for 64gb). The laptop is far easier to use so I will be sticking with that. But for what I want it for, perfect :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Morning GG, a very productive weekend - wine and baguette instead of tea and cake sounds like an ideal swap.
Enjoy the painting and pointy sticky thing (Tilly version of plinkyplonker) was a good buy.

Bathroom update:
Ceiling - 16 million coats and still looks odd.
Walls - 2 coats, ran out of paint, fortunately they still make it, unfortunately it's £24 .
Toilet:
Ceiling done
So, quick raid on posh fabric shop tomorrow - do I buy some fabric and get Roman blinds made, or do I get the existing curtains made into them .
Radiators for both rooms bought. Rough idea of tiles for loo, decided to keep carpet on floor, we are all old enough to hit the pan and the loo is v cold so don't want to make it even colder.
And as if I hadn't done enough painting, toenails gold, ready for holiday. And Paralympics :T. Off to see torch tomorrow night, with Torchy, Mr Flag and Wenlock - early birthday pressie :rotfl:.

Goodness 16 million coats, must mean the ceiling is only 5" off the floor
Happy birthday for tomorrow and enjoy the torch with your chums, Torchy, Wenlock and Mr Flag - your car will be full

OK, maybe I slightly exaggerated the coats of paint, it was actually 398.
