Reminds me of the time a family friend stayed at my parents house. In the morning he said he'd had a bad nights sleep and was "tossing and turning all night"
My mum span round from the scrambled eggs she was stirring and dead pan said "We just turn in this house"

I nearly spat my orange juice out!

Note to self - don't scratch inside of nose with tip of finger you crushed chillies with .

    Payday tomorrow :T.

Quidco payment of over £110 on its' way. Including £50 from a year ago, funny that, coming a few days after I chased it again :rotfl:.

Fence finally fixed today, and most of fascia treated - 3 coats and needs more . Had a good chat with the guy doing it for me. Unfortunately he is a roofer/qualified electrician/can do fence posts/tile/remove and replace radiators/plaster/fit sinks. You name it basically. I say unfortunately as whenever I have an 'idea' and say 'can you' he invariably says yes :rotfl:. So, in the next few weeks he will be:
    • fitting the new lights I bought a while back
    • replacing the 2 grotty radiators in the toilet and bathroom with shiny chrome ladder ones
    • having replastered the walls behind
    • then coming back to take off to let me paint behind (I don't have the right kind of valves to guarantee they won't leak if he just takes off) then put back on
    • removing the few tiles in the toilet
    • retiling with yet to be purchased bargains
    • lifting carpet and tiling floor with leftover tiles from kitchen
    • removing sink and replacing with very small vanity unit, complete with sink, tap and waste, about to be purchased from ebay for £80. 100% feedback, including some on what I am buying.
    • fitting new yet to be purchased toilet roll holder (oops, didn't tell him that :rotfl:)
Oops :o. In my defence, if I'm going to be here for the next 4 years I want a nice loo and bathroom and this is as cheap a compromise as I can get :D. And I already have the paint :rotfl:.

Great on the Quidco front, I'm due about £4 - all helps mind :D

Sounds like a good bit of work to be getting on with in your house, I think that will sound like us in a few weeks time :)
