Off for a lie down :rotfl:.

Just as well I did this early on. Had a phone call from bank, there's been a fraudulent transaction attempted and they've cancelled my card :eek::eek::eek::eek:. Internet banking shouldn't be affected but it remains to be seen .

  • Really sorry to hear about the bank. It seems to be on the increase sadly.

Good luck sorting it all out.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Nightmare about the cancelled card. Did the transaction go through or did they catch it in time? Hope it's all resolved quickly so not too much stress for you.

They caught it in time :T.That's the 3rd time it's happened to me - every time it's been picked up before I knew about it, twice Tesco. now NWide. Well done to them all, nice to give some praise for a change :T:T:T.

It's not my main account and tbh I never use the card - it's my backup for Spain (used to me used in Spain till they introduced charges........ remember those adverts where they made a big thing about it being free ). However, I would have been taking it to the paralympics next week as it's my only visa card, need to take plenty cash instead.

Bank Holiday weekend :D. It's raining . !!!!.

It's my birthday in a few weeks and I don't know what I want from Mr GG (well, I did suggest an ipad :rotfl:).

I can't really justify one just so I can keep up to date on MSE while I'm on holiday, can I!

Hm, can't justify an ipad, but sure I can justify a Blackberry Playbook 64g at £129 :D, thanks to a fellow MSE'er :T. Have reserved it, now need to see if it's any good :rotfl:.

Happy Birthday To Me! Thanks in advance Mr GG:kisses2:

  • Brilliant progress, well done! Push for an iPad though, I love mine and am not a techie but find it really great to use. You won't regret it,
