Was there (paralympics) last night - so proud. An amazing evening and to see so many new WR and PB's. A life memory.
Have to say there was some boo-ing. Not very sportsman like and not in the spirit of being British at all. I would apologise, even if it wasn't our fault, being British but.... It happened when George Osbourne turned up to present a medal. Bet that didn't make the tv highlights.0 -

It did actually. So did Gordon Brown getting cheered. But THIS when I was at the Women's Footie Final at the Olympics didn't :rotfl:. Proud to be British.

Edit: That should probably be
Of course, they've done quite well, but I don't believe any of them set a World Record. Just splashed out £12.50  on a cert for mine.
Mortgage still not paid off.

£8.32 Op'd, surprisingly didn't make much of an impact .
V, v busy at work. My unwinding day at home on Friday, tieing up loose ends before holiday, has turned into a mad dash to carrot crunching country for a meeting. Hopefully though I'll be home late PM and out of office message will be on :T. Plus I'm going most of the way on the choochoo which always cheers me up
.
New bank card arrived. I've [STRIKE]lost it[/STRIKE] filed it somewhere safe. Luckily I don't need it for hols .

File the list somewhere safe, then you don't have to do it as you won't be able to find it
Enjoy the games and have a fab holiday
