Swallows ducking and diving :T
Fennel has started to flower so my usual little titbit on 10th hole :j
Bought a firepit a few days ago, sent Mr GG out to collect some twigs etc for kindling so we could have a trial run before party. Wood collected but he's now asleep :rotfl:.
We are forecast RAIN on and off for the next two days :eek::eek:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

So you don't think it's just endless fun here - jobs for next two days while it's doing that rain thing:
- Remove redundant brackets from wall heater positions
- Fill holes
- Rub down & paint
- Sweep floors
- Wash floors
- Ironing
- Repairs
- Track down old cushions
- SPANISH - would be easier to JFDI than keep coming up with excuses. Currently the homework gets done on the day of the lesson - it's like being back at school :rotfl:
- Sort out gas agreement at their offices so we can legally buy gas bottles as opposed to our current fudging
- Cook four loin joints for pulled pork for party
- Buy & hopefully plant geraniums
- Buy Mr GG trousers that are suitable to turn into Plus Fours (don't ask :rotfl:)
- Birthday pressie for friend
- Birthday cards x 2
- Sort out TV - change provider?
- Chase up CCard refund.
- Clean shoes & boots
- Open Santander account
- [STRIKE]Renew house insurance on one BTL and set reminder for another[/STRIKE]
- Watch the osprey webcam - Maya is back :j:T:j:T:j

- Also set myself the target of sorting out pensions. Hadn't been going to touch for now but combo of Mr GG having funded house purchase, wanting to make some structural changes and in all honesty being a bit worried about renewed rumours on pension changes have made me decide to access it sooner rather than later. Currently mainly in funds/index funds and Vanguard mixed funds. No cash as hadn't intended cashing in and so had to grit teeth during recent downturn. Fortunately they've more than recovered so started to sell some and looking to merge three pensions into one or possibly two. Need to find best option for providers for going into drawdown, can't find easy comparison table
. Will be looking to Ed for advice .
Will be interested to read your progress.
Mr Goldie has two pots which are fine where they are for the time being but 'something' will need to be done at some point to merge the funds, for when we want to start drawdown
Good luck with your rainy day job list listEarly retired - 18th December 2014
