Thanks for suggestions - planning starts next week and have asked someone to get me some Pin the Tails :rotfl:.

Lovely few days with a good friend :T. Now got Tilly and MWC for the weekend :j:j:j:j:j.

Went to local market today, as I walked down the hill from where I'd parked car there was a gorgeous smell of orange blossom and I kept catching it in the market as well :T.

    Things to achieve in March:
    - Lose more weight
    - Plan, organise and host housewarming/birthday party for potentially up to 50 people :eek::eek:. I'm not a natural hostess and haven't arranged a party since DD & DS were little so the gin may get hit big time this month :rotfl:.
    - Also set myself the target of sorting out pensions. Hadn't been going to touch for now but combo of Mr GG having funded house purchase, wanting to make some structural changes and in all honesty being a bit worried about renewed rumours on pension changes have made me decide to access it sooner rather than later. Currently mainly in funds/index funds and Vanguard mixed funds. No cash as hadn't intended cashing in and so had to grit teeth during recent downturn. Fortunately they've more than recovered so started to sell some and looking to merge three pensions into one or possibly two. Need to find best option for providers for going into drawdown, can't find easy comparison table :(. Will be looking to Ed for advice :rotfl:.
    - Pack case as off to that England place on 1st April for a week
    - Write shopping list as bringing luggage back :rotfl:.
    - Sort out garden and get some veg planted :j - will need to entrust my babies to Mr GG though so maybe I should wait :rotfl:.

Walked nearly 10 miles and climbed equivalent of 80 floors. They're having a siesta. They may never recover :rotfl:

We have had a lovely day KC and Tilly and I went up and down the stairs to get to 100 flights  MWC's Fitbit hadn't registered any steps so she just sat on the sofa in a huff eating cheese :D

  • I took the dog out for a quick whizz around the block last night to hit my 10000 steps, I'm sure he didn't mind :)

Smell of orange blossom outside sounds wonderful.

No advice on the party I'm afraid. Do you need activities at grown-up parties?
