Have a garden cocktail stall, decorate it with orange blossom or whatever is in bloom.
Make a couple of big bowls of whatever popular type, and have a couple of simple recipe cards so not overwhelming choices for time/cost/skill.

So, Tilly has gone home with a large hole in her foot that used to be covered with skin and MWC has a splinter in her hand . And I was poorly sick today so not much fun and Mr GG took the girls to lunch and has done the airport runLovely weekend though :T:T:T.

........ When you invite lots of people to a party and they all say yes"....... And you wonder where they're all going to go :rotfl: Even a couple we knew couldn't make it have booked to come back as they've been invited to somewhere else a few days later  chuffed they're coming though :T It will be fine, as long as it's dry...... And last March and April were awful.........
Sitting in the sun on roof, squinting at iRene so apologies for spelling. Birds are singing and all is well with the world
Nature Note no. 1:
Breakfast next to sea in the sun Saturday morning, watching a cormorant and artic tern (unsuccessfully) fishing.
Nature Note no. 2:
The ospreys are starting to leave their winter grounds, prepare to watch Osprey TV shortly :rotfl:
Nature Nite no. 3:
The house martins and swallows are back :j
In money matters - tenant we gave notice to is starting to pack up and council are finding her somewhere so here's hoping for a smooth exit. Am expecting house to be in a bit if a tip - have emailed estate agent and asked him to view with me 1st week in April to advise what if anything we should do before listing. Also asked for a rough, low end, ball park figure as no houses nearby have sold for a good while. There will be more than enough to clear the outstanding mortgage on our house so that will boost income by £800 a month (should be only £350 but as she's not been paying the rent........).
Mr GG and I currently in negotiations over what to do with surplus....... (insert punch-up smiley here)
Tenants for apartment arriving Weds eve, need to find a few hours to wash floors and dust, plus wash outside. As always though, we're a bit busy :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Osprey TV will be on here too.
Tenant sounds like a nightmare. We've got one at the moment who is having problems with payment and is full of excuses, not to mention sarcastic. Last week I asked what the tenant thinks would happen if I failed to pay my mortgage?... Tenant's answer "mummy and daddy would see to it".2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

Assuming it is new (as I don't like to think it's been about for ages and I missed it), Santander have a regular esaver at 5%, £200 a month. Need to open one (and Mr GG also) but has to be by phone or in branch. Will get Mr GG to open over phone (as he's not going back to UK next month) then decide whether to do now or wait a few weeks.
