    Nature Notes:
Last time I went to golf with Mr GG I saw around a dozen eagles - doing this :T:T:T but with more style :D. That's more than I've previously seen in all my life

Crikey, Mr GG must have played well :)

Your little grasshopper looks luminous :) I had an ordinary green one on my front door the other day, right by the handle - had to encourage him off with a piece of grass, I don't really want grasshoppers flying about inside the house!

    Enjoy the golf :)

:rotfl: he does get the odd birdie but these eagles were definitely of the feathered variety:rotfl:

Gah - just lost a long post  - summary as follows:

Weather forecast to break tonight and I have socks on  going to be mixed at best for a few days :(

NSD today and walk with free pomegranates and grapes on way home :T

Will meal plan during week then shop on Thurs and cook (start of new budget month ;) ).

Nature notes: nothing exciting from me, but someone a few miles away had one of these running down her curtain:

Cinema last night with friends - English film (My Old Lady - Maggie Smith & Kevin Kline - excellent) with Spanish subtitles and some French dialogue as well. Enjoyed reading the subtitles - on a few occasions I was thinking 'that's not how that translates :D'. It was in a town about an hour away but will probably do it fairly often - tickets are €6.50 so not too bad. The exciting news is........................ there is an Aldi there :T:j:T:j:T. How could I not know this already :o. Am currently on aldi.es writing a price comparison list :D. Unfortunately Lidl and Mercadona don't have prices on line (well Mercadona do, but only if you register, will do that when we move). Can see a big bulk shop in the future when we have a storeroom :j.

That's great that you know Spanish well enough to make that comment :)

  • And that's when you realise that they don't translate all the naughty/swear/rude bits!

My pupils are always disappointed that 'tant pis' only means 'tough' and not 'aunt weewee'.
