MWCxbut that's another story) :rotfl:.
Sitting having a cup of Lady Grey tea, one of my two 'UK' things - my fave cereal is the other. Off to neighbours for dinner later :T, fortunately only a few yards away as Mr GG has a blister and he's not very brave

What's your favourite cereal?
Fond memories of visiting Mallorca as a child and being greatly amused by our very English neighbours who pretty much refused to eat anything that wasn't a UK brand0 -

THIS one. In my defence, I first found it in my local indie Spanish supermarket then tracked it down in the UK (Waitrose and possibly Asda). Occasionally I pop into the big Iceland in the next town (there's a great 'Chinese shop' next door I use quite a bit) and it amazes me to see folk buying their main shop there. So expensive as it's all imported . The Spanish do like clean clothes as well as British, their soap powder does actually work, no need to but Ariel at twice the UK price (and with no BOGOF's ). Not at all like UK Iceland's, it's actually a lovely bright and clean store, more like a supermarket than frozen food place. I'm obviously a snob though as I like to dive in and out as quick as possible - don't want to be seen in there
- though I always see someone I know :rotfl:.

I am secretly a little disappointed that it wasn't Coco Pops :rotfl:
I do not think that our shopping habits would be wildly different if we retired to the sun (Greece is always calling). Suspect it would be 70% Lidlos supplemented with local baker and markets.0 -
I chuck all sorts of things in my porridge nowadays - don't really want the toasted version. Currently its pumpkin seeds, linseed, peanut butter and organic honey. With Sainsbo Basics cornflakes, I like the texture :rotfl:
I know what you mean about not wanting to be seen in Iceland"I'm not that person" - but now that Sainsbo put their frozen veg on offer its the same price as Iceland, and Iceland don't even sell feta any more at my shop - and that and veg are all I'm prepared to buy there, their chilled food tastes disgusting tbh
even when the ingredients seem wholesome ...
Give me a Spanish supermarket any day :T Yum.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well as I have said before - GG and her poetic licence!!
Going to have to balance the books - male ego and all that, you understand! So please forgive the next couple of posts .....
PS - GG is out playing and invariably meeting new friends; fair play to her. I am enjoying relaxing on the terrace and hijacking her thread0 -
