I am glad that the dogfish tasted better than it sounds!
You are making me fancy a Spanish holiday, which is probably a big no no until we have visited the Rentals in the Canary Islands at least once. Ah, first world problems0 -

PS, raining, windy and grey here, assuming it's the same where you are
Em, no, not really :rotfl:. Though there are a bad few days forecast.

Been out with friends tonight to local pub quiz, which we won obviously. , Caz, Al and Watty - I knew what a horse's ankle was called :j:j:j. I didn't even know I knew it
.
Got annoyed with the state of the place earlier so spent some time tidying and polishing - now just need to avert eyes from the state of the floor :rotfl:. Though tomorrow is a big day - cupboards in hall are getting doors fitted so I'll be emptying out all the remaining non-clothes boxes :T.
Need to meal plan so now all my recipe books are out and in a logical order I think I'll just pick one recipe from each book in turn - maybe at random. First up then is Menu del Dia - an American book which had such good reviews I bought it second hand off Amazon. Good recipes but no pictures. So, random pages are...... 112 & 113. Cordero a la Pastoril (Granadian Shepherd's Lamb Stew) and Atun Encebollado (Tuna with Sweet Onions). Think I'll go for the tuna - as I'm not really a great fan of it but want to try it more (and I've just decided a rule of the game is I must choose the fish dish unless I'd absolutely hate it, or it's a Monday - fishermen don't go out on a Sunday). Will report back
.

. I think it IS a fetlock but the answer had four letters and the hock is almost an ankle so we bunged that down, in that cavalier manner when you can't think of anything else

Currently unpacking glasses etc prior to going to get 16 shelves cut for new cupboards . Not quite as bad as it sounds as half of them are actually cupboard bottoms - http://www.ikea.com/es/es/catalog/products/60156121/ - try picturing it with four normal opening doors, and there are two of them, joined together. Will hold loads of things as long as they are not deep.

I always feel anything is worth "bunging down" - leaving a blank space shows no imagination in my opinionMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
