. Shame as a neighbour is coming out and she had bad weather at Easter as well. Double shame that I will only see her Mon & Tues as I'm off to meet Mr GG Weds :happyhear :kisses2::happyhear

So meal plan didn't quite go according to plan, swapped some things round and ended up with spaghetti with mussels and clams. Cost me €2.50 for both. OMG . The clams were nice but the mussels were the plumpest, juiciest, orangiest, nonnonnomiest ever :T
:T.
Had to move my chair round as I had my back to the sunset. How rude :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

What a load of twaddle this diary has become. Am off to see Mr GG on Weds till Mon
, after that I will be concentrating on money matters again
.
It's all a bit complicated as the new tenants for our house pulled out, at some stage soon we will get rent for the house BIL is in and one tenant is 'having a few problems'. I've worked out what the total (eventual) income is and what needs to be put aside for expenses and tax etc. I've also worked out a rough budget of €1,310 a month. As this equates almost exactly to the gross rent from the two reliable tenants (famous last words) I've decided to draw out the €1,310 each month, put it into the Spanish account and use that to live on. The tax and expenses from those two properties can get caught up when the income from the other houses comes on stream. It also means the mortgage will be getting paid from our savings for now, so overall debt is rising again for the moment but will soon settle down.
There, I feel better for having decided that :T. Just need to finds a way to remember the log-in details for Spanish bank as it's one that can't be changed.

It does sound a bit complicated, Gally, but using rents from 2 places when you have *3* places sounds fine in the long run, you just have a cash flow issue going on right now. But since you have savings to take care of that, you'll be fine :j
It is a lesson, isn't it! And I appreciate all the stuff you're putting in your diary - retiring *without* ten million pounds to back you up needs a little bit of juggling, and its good to hear how its done, thank you :T2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Went to bank this morning to ask them something and they emailed me some info. A few emails back and forth and lovely bank man ended up saying 'un beso' - which is a kiss...........:happyhear . Don't get that at Nat West :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
