Getting so cocky I am now tackling Mr GG's mum's paperwork - 3 full bin bags & one wheelie bin so far . Highlights include a car service bill from 1965 (£7 11 5) and something put in an envelope with 'I've no idea why I kept this, I sold those years ago', :rotfl:. Oh, and Mr GG topless with a sombrero on from about 1980. Ding dong :blushing:.

Paperworked out and can't find the stamina to sort out in folder yet. But 92 years reduced to around 2" of paperwork :T. No more highlights except an envelope saying 'this envelope contains envelopes' - which it did :D. Oh, and a box of love letters written to Mr GG . There's a lot of them but I'm not allowed to read them :(.

In an entirely unrelated matter, I'm hoping Mr GG will manage to get out to play golf later on ;).

  • I wouldn't be able to resist the letters. With such a small outstanding mortgage, when do you think it will be done? I need to get a new frock for the celebration party.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
