    Buy wine for Fri dinner
 Been told I need to prioritise this .

Feeling a bit more organised - got through the tenants stuff, writing the appropriate letters etc, that took a while. Now got an 'out' day today and an 'in' day tomorrow then final clear out on Saturday. Flight is at 06.55 Sunday if anyone wants to come and see me off/make sure I'm really going :rotfl:. So three days to go then..........
I'M GOING TO LIVE IN SPAIN
Don't really think it's sunk in yet, I've been wanting to do it since I joined MSE and now it's actually happening :T. So looking forward to it :D. For those of you struggling at the moment - 18 years ago, almost to the day, I moved into a nice-house-in-a -bad-area when my marriage broke up. Part time job, mortgage to pay, under threat of redundancy and a bout of depression on its way . Now I'm retired to the sun at 53. Keep the faith folk, it CAN be done :j. And I'll be behind you all the way, cheering and occasionally shoving you along :).

Thanks - and I can confirm the microwave makes a very good box for packing tupperware :D.

Managed to find homes for 37 boxes in this morning's mental 'unpacking' session so that's over 50% :T. Mr GG's mum seemed to find my 73 boxes very amusing :rotfl:. Don't know why as that's around the quantity of paperwork we just removed from her house .

Pick up new mixer tap that tenants want. Ring new maintenance man to arrange time for fitting. Watch while he finds out the stopcock isn't working so has to switch off at mains outside. Listen while he finds out he can't fit taps as the screw is slightly shorter than existing ones and he's not a plumber so can't fix. Watch while he tries and fails to get water switched back on. Listen and help while he rings water board to get emergency visit. Go to DS's and return quickly as water board very fast to respond :T. Watch puzzled as he discovers mains water is in fact working. Watch less puzzled when he turns on stopcockundersinkwhichwasn'tbrokenafterall and water is restored. Say thank you and goodbye to water board man. Check round house for water. Hear water running. Take off bath panel and see that oldtapwhichwasfittedbackonwasnotfittedproperlyandisleaking. Run downstairs, switch off stopcockundersinkwhichwasn'tbrokenafterall and shout 'help' to nice water board man. Watch while he checks taps and says the hot one is leaking and he thinks the pipe is cracked. Listen while he says he can't do anything - it's not his job, but he doesn't have the parts anyway. Return to DS's for dinner. Contact nice emergency gasman/plumber who can come round at 7.30 in the morning. Come home. Try best to remember not to use bathroom toilet. DONE:eek:

Good progress, especially on new entry .
