C Touch up living room paint, Except this involves removing pictures and large mirror, filling in holes, washing walls, touching up paint, sitting and ignoring the fact that the touch ups are obvious and room looks dirty. Probably cracking and making a bolt for B&Q. But if I do the living room then hall gloss will look awful so I may crack there as well :eek:. Very, very frustrating day which I won't bore you with by going through it all. But living room now freshly painted - supposed to be Mocha but more a lilacy-grey-melted chocolate icecream. Darker than I'd have chosen if I was staying here but I'm not :rotfl:. Needs a second coat tomorrow but hopefully won't take long. And obviously will be done by 5pm

D Clean oven Cleaner on. DONE
E Feed lawn
Packing:- Cookery books - including weighing to make sure maximum weight of planned shelves won't be exceeded. Packed, need to weigh. DONE
- Tagines - again including weighing as these will be on display DONE
- Study - massive job, need to sort out four large filing drawers, a few boxes and a bookcase so I can sell desk and bookcase
- Shed & garden - clean out shed, decide what pots I want to take, empty and wash. Lift solar lights and wash. Almost done. Just need to wash them so will do that now. DONE
- Garage
- Kitchen - glass unit [STRIKE]Glasses washed but bubble wrap not turned up yet so currently lined up in unit ready for packing.[/STRIKE] DONE

- Dresser unit - miscellaneous

- Boxes in hall - possibly pack wrapped glasses in them? DONE

- Bed 1 - plastic storage boxes
- Utility room cupboard
- Pantry - coats (eek :eek: - forgot about them)

- All stuff boxed up already - bring downstairs, check, seal and label.

Oh dear, flogged my guts out all day and don't seem to have achieved much, took around 4 hours to do the study :eek:. Sourced packing boxes (good old Wilko
) but ran out of bubble wrap
. Also managed to sort out MIL's phone :T and meet new tenants (protected deposit just in time
). Had a laugh (and little tear
) at some old photos
. Now decluttering last of red wine :j.

One highlight of our holiday last year was rescuing a tortoise from the middle of the road
I'm loving the giant list gg - awesome organisation :T When I helped mum pack and move last year the mess and confusion almost drove me mad:o She had months to prepare but still ended up taking everything with her because she didn't have time to sort it :eek: Or clean it :eek::eek: her packing involved persuading me to come over, having a complete panic, then 'faffing' around with something pointless while I packed up the rest of the house :mad:
