    Hi GG

Just catching up - as usual.

Liking your idea of packing tupperware in the microwave. Might be stealing that idea.

A Cut grass [STRIKE]Done, at least first cut, will go over in a little bit when dried and the flattened bits have jumped up again[/STRIKE] :D. DONE
B Weed front properly & weed back quickly
C Touch up living room paint, Except this involves removing pictures and large mirror, filling in holes, washing walls, touching up paint, sitting and ignoring the fact that the touch ups are obvious and room looks dirty. Probably cracking and making a bolt for B&Q. But if I do the living room then hall gloss will look awful so I may crack there as well . Very, very frustrating day which I won't bore you with by going through it all. But living room now freshly painted - supposed to be Mocha but more a lilacy-grey-melted chocolate icecream :D. Darker than I'd have chosen if I was staying here but I'm not :rotfl:. Needs a second coat tomorrow but hopefully won't take long. And obviously will be done by 5pm :D.
    D Clean oven [STRIKE]Cleaner on. [/STRIKE]DONE
    E Feed lawn

    Packing:
    1. Cookery books - including weighing to make sure maximum weight of planned shelves won't be exceeded. Packed, need to weigh. DONE
    2. Tagines - again including weighing as these will be on display
    3. Study - massive job, need to sort out four large filing drawers, a few boxes and a bookcase so I can sell desk and bookcase
    4. Shed & garden - clean out shed, decide what pots I want to take, empty and wash. Lift solar lights and wash. Almost done. Just need to wash them so will do that now. DONE
    5. Garage
    6. Kitchen - glass unit Glasses washed but bubble wrap not turned up yet so currently lined up in unit ready for packing.
    7. Glassware
    8. Tupperware
    9. Dresser unit - miscellaneous
    10. Dresser unit - terracotta plates and dishes Washing them first - in dishwasher DONE
    11. Microwave - probably pack filled with tupperware
    12. Double unit - casseroles
    13. Double unit - other dishes
    14. Double unit - bowls
    15. Slow cooker - pack filled with something
    16. Vases
    17. Drawers
    18. Under sink - pots & pans
    19. Under sink - baking trays etc
    20. Dolly the Shopping Trolley :D
    21. Boxes in hall - possibly pack wrapped glasses in them?
    22. Lamp in living room
    23. Wii - write down where cables connect
    24. TV - need to find big box
    25. Bathroom - won't take long, basically done
    26. Bed 1 - plastic storage boxes
    27. Utility room cupboard
    28. Pantry - coats (eek  - forgot about them)
    29. Clothes - sort out to winter, summer that fits, summer than nearly fits, lose 3 stone then fits, charity shop, bin, then pack
    30. All stuff boxed up already - bring downstairs, check, seal and label.

  • Yes I saw the Ospreys :j:j
Bit further away than I thought, but suppose we cannot get too close
The two of them are doing a great job, and you can hear them calling to each other when they want to swop over, or when Maya is hungry

    Good luck with the viewings

Glad you got to see them. :)

My son loves all types of wildlife, you've given me an idea of somewhere I can take him next week (even though it's a bit of a drive and I'm supposed to be working).

:T Great to hear :T. How is live in the sun treating you :D.

GG :rotfl:I'll be delighted if it all gets achieved in a few weeks :rotfl:.

Life is amazing, no post, no debts, no hassle, time and days just slip away lol. Sadly OH is poorly with trapped sciatic nerve for the last five week but mending slowly and physio starts Monday which should sort him out so we can do more of what we planned.

We sold or gave away virtually everything we owned as we had a holiday home here in North Cyprus which had all the basics. Over the years of visiting we have brought over extra bits as we needed them and with our last luggage which was mainly mementos and urgent stuff we just had to keep we so far we haven't missed a thing that was let go.
    Very liberating!!

Em, yes, I'm the same.....:whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle:

    :o

In my defence, it's years since we took out more than hand luggage, obviously I have a lot of catching up to do on you :rotfl:.

I would leave it for now Alex, as Debs said you don't get that close. We were very lucky with our timings when we went a few years ago - it was July. The chicks were just about to fledge and you could see them 'helicoptering' above the nest and dropping back down. At present you would just see the parent on the nest and the other on a nearby perch or maybe bringing a fish back if you're very lucky.
