Gally, you're doing so much, be careful you don't overtire yourself :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: It is very hard work KC, about to have a nanna nap in the sun :). Got a hot date with a man in the local pub tonight , it's ok, he's bringing his wife along, she won't go out much but I bumped into them earlier and she will be having a wild night out (if she leaves the pub and goes on elsewhere :rotfl:). Had forgotten about that when I wrote this morning's post so that walk will have to wait till tomorrow.

Got a good quote from a local guy to move stuff out from UK :T.

Today's Nature Note was a family of turtles sunning themselves on a rock :T. Must start taking phone along to snap things like that. Lovely little dog for walk, looked a bit like the one on right here and kept doing that hunting dog pose . I had to tell her I didn't care how cute she was, she wasn't getting off the lead to chase the magpies :D.

My guess is Tristan, was my guess before you gave the Wagner clue :)

Sorry for the lengthy opera hijack GG, I realise it has precious little to do with ospreys :rotfl:

Ps. Now I quite like Tannhauser, mebbe next time...

    Well done, Ed. :)

I suppose I ought apologise too as I was the one to go off on a tangent in the first place.

As for the "next time", there won't be one of those.

Must be Robert - that's the only Wagner I know :D.

Off to do dog-walking in a bit :T, keyholder coming round about some jobs I need doing, going for a long walk along a promenade in nearby town I don't really know - will have a window mooch around their shops (probably during their siesta so that will be cheap :)), need to get a few bits'n'pieces and decide what to have for dinner. Another exhausting day :rotfl:.

Should I know who Robert Wagner is?

Your day sounds rather delightful, really quite looking forward to my week away in Spain now. What's the weather been like? :)

No Alex, I wouldn't expect you to know :D.

The weather was pants but now fabulous - not too hot but warm enough to be out all day in short sleeves/dress/shorts whatever takes your fancy :T.

Didn't have a nanna nap in the end, found a sudden splurge of energy, washed little terrace, pruned stephanotis hard and moved to said terrace with final verbal warning (and we don't do written ones as plants can't read obviously :D). So it's got till I'm back next month to buck its ideas up or it's going to the home for abandoned plants (i.e. dump it next to the bins and see what soft touch picks it up ;)). Just in case it doesn't think I'm serious, a rosemary bush, pot and all, went there today as it refused to fight off a scale insect infestation despite my copious assistance . Also scrubbed bits of front terrace to remove plantpot marks.

And on the way to said plant graveyard I found a turtle wandering along the road. Obviously no phone or camera with me :(, so I picked it up and set if off across country :).

Very good evening out with a lovely couple and by coincidence my friends adopted a dog they found years ago so I've promised them piccies :T.

Glad to hear the weather is nice though I'll give the dress wearing a miss. :rotfl:

    Having fun :D

Gally, there's a scene in Sarah Connor: the Terminator Chronicles where she rescues a tortoise that's trying to cross a road :p don't tell me you're the saviour of mankind, I'd have to get your autograph :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Your day *still* sounds lovely, even though you go around threatening plants :j

Score so far this week is:
    GG2 Mossies 0 :T.
    Now GG 5 Mossies 0 :j.

However, their evil little friend(s), no idea what, decided to share my bed the other night and I have around 30 little spots on each leg .

Want to walk down to bins but waiting on goats to come round - I can here them but can't see them (and even turned round in chair in case they were behind me :D). Will give them 10 minutes. I am outside but have a blankie on .

Piccies of adopted dog emailed to new friends :).
