I've come up with a great business idea :T. No intentions of doing it as a) I'd need to move and b) I'd need to be nice to people  and c) I'd need to work :eek: but still, very proud of myself :D. Have checked and no-one doing it so if anyone has say £75k to play with ;).

Yes, I came to that conclusion after thinking about it for 10 seconds. Would definitely have a steady if not stunning income - but I would have to be nice to people who were stressed. Too much like hard work :D.

    So, update from retirementville :D.

Weather is still not great - got SOAKED yesterday on a long walk, but stunning views - looking forward to repeating it with Mr GG & various friends :T. Also met some new folks who gave me details of another walking group. Need to carry glasses around with me though as I typed the name of the bar where they meet into phone and it doesn't seem to exist :rotfl:.

Spent most of today putting shelves up in wardrobe - quite a palaver but done in end and very pleased with them :D. Also put up hooks for hairdryer in wardrobe, iron tidy and a few pics so ticked a few things off list :T. Still got so much to get through though .

Sun then came out so spent a few hours on roof :T, was going to walk down to village tonight but evening sun was on front terrace so I just stayed put and watched the sun set :). Now watching the Masters - but can't see me making it to the end as worn out :D.

Mossie in room , waiting on it to land. Score so far this week is:
    GG2 Mossies 0 :T.

Out with friends tomorrow lunch to v nice tapas bar :T, am hoping to get up early and walk to garage for coffee so I get some steps in :A. Tuesday walking group and Wednesday another walking group if I can track them down :o. Friday is market day in next town (walk over so 20,000+ steps :T) so that just leaves Thursday to do bank stuff. Plus all the stuff still on my to do list - which I really would like to get done before I go back as I will also have a lot to do on next trip. Like I said, worn out :rotfl:.

Soooooooo glad to not be working anymore - come on folks, who's next :T.

Can't wait to hear about more retirees!
    Early retired - 18th December 2014

  • Mr Minx surprised the life out of me the other week by saying that we were now in a position where I didn't have to work if I didn't want to, but we'd have a considerably nicer lifestyle if I did - so technically I could retire if I wanted to, but I'd so hate being dependent on him that I'm not going to!

I have a pair of sparrows that keep visiting my terrace :T.

They seem to think it's their bedroom. Let's just say the sap is rising :eek::eek:.
