Crikey, a bit like hard work this retirement lark, don't seem to have a minute to spare .

No new birds spotted this week but I did meet a new cat and very nice she was too :D.

Clippy I did declutter two pillows :). I've not bothered with the book - I've grasped the basic concepts ok I think, though if I was to do it the way she says (e.g. gather every pen you possess in one place rather than sorting by drawer) I think I'd quickly become overwhelmed :rotfl:. I have a lot of komono .

2 lights sold on ebay so will be typing in the dark soon , also ornaments and pictures in car for cs in the morning. House sounds echo-y :(.

Packing Room of Doom is overwhelming me, I'm not brave enough to enter in case it eats me .

Lost 2 fence panels in the gales but paid a neighbour who does gardening for a living to replace posts and panels - already done :T. I left a bedroom window open a little in spare room on Monday night and wind must have caught it so gusting into hallway. Strange muffled banging noise in middle of the night - opened bedroom door to see loft hatch moving up and down . That image will reappear in some nightmares I'm sure scary-smiley-screaming-emoticon.gif.

Hardly done any walking last few days, not impressed :(. Over 18,000 today though, went out earlier even though I could tell it was going to rain again. I may have told the rain to em........... do one basically :rotfl:.

Mr GG back Fri am :kisses2: - though there are bad standstorms in the ME - hopefully his plane will be ok :(.

Off to at least look at the Packing Room of Doom .

:rotfl:retirement life is ridiculously busy..... But it's better than working.

    Glad everything is going well.

I'm sure that there'll be a point where everything is 'done' and you can enjoy a leisurely life - with the amount of life admin I want to get done in April I'm not quite there myself!

Thats quite a lot :rotfl: we haven't had enough rain to tell it to do one, but I would've told the wind to do one if I hadn't been scared it would bite me :D

My mum has been retired for a few years now and from the way she complains about it, I don't think the life admin ever ends  Although maybe you can spread it out a bit so it doesn't feel like it's taking up all of your time?

Loved the loft hatch image! Lots of banging about here overnight - was hoping was just dog as Mr Watty was at work :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

So, walked to DS's house in sunshine, sat in the garden for 15 mins after lunch, walked the long way home in the sunshine........ my face is burnt :rotfl:. A week in Spain with nothing, out in our microclimate and action :).

So, Happy New Tax Year everyone _party__party__party_.

Am off to that Spain place tomorrow for two weeks :j:j:j.

I have none of my spreadsheets set up for 15/16 :o. In fact I have so much to do I've just decided my laptop is going on holiday with me :o. Which means unpacking the hand luggage case which weighed 9.95kg :D and starting again . I've thought of something quite heavy in there so it might just be a straight swap.

A few things sold on ebay. I now have no lamps in the living room except one relocated from the hall and I'm currently trying to superglue a lampshade so I can put a cheap light in the hall :o. I won't be selling any more clothes though as I've decluttered my ebay materials. Large pine wardrobe sold - chap coming for it in two hours & I've said I'll dismantle it so best get started. Got to be easy, hasn't it :o.
