Facebook app scrapped and using browser - couldn't get rid of big panel on left, didn't show new group I'd joined but did show one I'd left .
Hotmail app scrapped and using browser. Final straw was not being able to work out how to print an attachment without saving it somewhere .
If Microsoft want to use apps why not just buy them from Apple .
In other news - Hump Day is over :T.
Just heard 2 members of MPC voted for a rise in interest rates this month :eek::eek:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I read that, cue markets going down (and then up, and then down as is the fashion).
Reducing the panic of a potentially ballooning mortgage bill has got to be one of the secret benefits of OPing that we never take the time to appreciate as a group?
I read the gloomy 'could you cope if your mortgage went up by x% messages' without fear0 -
and do not use any stupid apps....:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

One of my dearest mates who is one of my fiercest critics when it comes to my overpaying has gone suspiciously silent now on the topic! I am guessing that now she's freelance as well... suddenly the buffer of having overpaid and reduced my monthly outgoings will make any rise a little more absorbable... I am really not finding it a problem. I hated it at first, and getting the free upgrade to 8.1 didn't work however carefully I followed the instructions. However, after a delightful gentleman somewhere in India spend several hours remotely sorting the 8.1 upgrade for me (for free - thanks Dell customer support), it is fine: I have it on desktop mode, and I really don't notice the difference - apart from remembering that when I want to make it sleep/hibernate/shut down, I have to do a right click in the bottom left hand corner, whereas at work we still have Windows 7 and I still have to do a left click.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I think I need to go to desktop mode. I don't want to be a Luddite, but I've given it time and I still hate it :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Added pensions to online banking site. Only one site functioning (Friends Life - sort yourself out - your site is down more times than a trollop's knickers!) but with one pension fund plus savings less mortgage and credit cards my overall position is:
My Net Worth = £2,801.50.
Not much, but it's a start, and thanks to the pension changes from the lovely Mr Osborne :kisses3: (yuk _pale_) I suppose a pension is just a glorified savings account.
