    That's a net worth in the positive though... right?
    My "postive" is now being offset against the rented out flat - I know I shouldn't have these evil thoughts but sometimes I wonder (especially with mum degenerating mentally but insisting on her independence) whether I would be better off selling the flat, clearing the mortgage on the house and having the freedom to potentially rent a small space close to mum but keep the London base...

    Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
    Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
