Well done on the successful mortgage shenanigans, GG, £42k in a month is brilliant and it really won't be long until Sept 15 ... your end really is in sight (as it were)!

Very happy for you for all your losses of bank's pounds and body pounds this week! :T

Yup, on 1st :j. Will take ages to colour in the house bricks this month - we've gone from just above the door to above the upstairs windows :rotfl:. Then it's on to the roof :j:j:j

Amidst of all the big financial shenanigans it's easy to lose sight of the small ones. Ridiculously pleased to spot that daily interest now down to £3.04, will drop to £3.01 at end of week when mortgage payment comes out then Sept will start with a 2 :T. In reality it's actually lower than that - the £3 is the mortgage account less offset but we have savings elsewhere which generate (small) amounts so partially offset it.

    Happy Hump Day :)

Fabulous progress. Enjoy colouring bricks in :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

House coloured in :j, but rent from new tenants not come across from estate agents yet so still on 40k :(. I'll live with that :T. 2 little squares, then the roof and a 2k chimney to go :D.

Also put £200 into premium bonds last night (new tax and repairs 'account') and when new tenants deposit received that will go in there also. The deposit needs to be protected but I can do that through the Residential Landlord's Association for around £20 and keep hold of it :).

Off adventuring with Mr GG for a few hours at lunch time then need to make my hours up :o. Slight chance adventuring may eventually lead to more spreadsheets than I know what to do with .

Mr GG away tonight and regular weekend plans turned upside down so don't know if I can cope . Still, I have a MS to do at that starry coffee place so that will pep me up :D.

Need to chase up repair man to see if he can pop to new tenants house. Will tie a knot in my hankie :).

    But most importantly:
    :j:j:jIt's Friday :j:j:j
