gallygirl: I bankrupted myself through some unexpected bill(s) after over stretching myself investing in various property.
Strangely enough, I do know that strategy (buying property one can barely afford) can actually work though I did not quite realise the risk.
Oh, I thought it would have been the speedboat :rotfl:.nattypants wrote: »I will have to tidy my tillies as well!
You can add that to your to do list along with trimming your bush and stripping.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Oh, I thought it would have been the speedboat :rotfl:.
I was bankrupt before any opportunities like that came my way.
Talking of speedboats; I promised myself a Riva Junior before I'm 40, a downsize from the Aquarama I once said I'd like.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

I wouldn't even spend money on a pedalo.

Who is this who has hacked into natty's MSE ID????
Nice to see you posting again, natty. Everything OK in pants towers? :wave:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Not doing it for you:
.
So...... spurred on by the RichDadPoorDad game I've set up a new spreadsheetcalled Passive Income. Just based on the btl income + interest from savings less mortgages (including own as that will eventually be rented out). As one house is currently empty it's showing -£228 :rotfl:. That should change in the next few months to around +£282 and hopefully above £450 soon after that.
Just a slightly different way of looking at things (normally I look at the month on month change in o/s balances with our OP's etc). I like it :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

So how many spreadsheets is that altogether, gally?
My temptation isn't usually adding new actual sheets, but adding extra graphs and charts to the ones I've already got.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
